From the outside, this antique shop is so inviting and well lit, you can't help but find a place to park and go see what they have to offer.

The store is beautifully displayed and stocked with everything from the nostalgic kitchen gadget to elegant pieces of furniture.

They have a lovely assortment of jewellery, some vintage clothing and so many other things to peruse...and buy!
I have never walked out of there empty handed....just so many things to tempt a person.

The owner is never too busy to chat with you and/or answer any questions you may have.  She is such a lovely person, easy to talk to and very honest and open....and very knowledgeable and willing to share her knowledge.

The one employee I have met is extremely helpful, attentive while still giving you the space you need to walk around and see everything.
I prefer shopping for antique and vintage items in this charming shop...it has much more personal attention than the larger antique malls and much more carefully chosen merchandise.

I would recommend this shop to anyone who loves antiques and good old-fashioned service.

Located around the Jasper bend that morphs into 124th, Ibon is where Urban Barn meet some random small-town "hidden gem" antique shop in Port Perry, Ontario.

This place is worth the putter.

I found the exact set of 1970s beer steins we used to have in our cupboard growing up, and those old antique pressing irons dad loved to collect.

The owner had time for chit-chat, and nodded knowingly at my nostalgia, then held his hand a foot above the floor to describe how young he feels looking at some of this old stuff.

"About yay-high ... but now I can touch it as much as I want ... wohaha."

They've got retro dishware, grandma's hats and china, old magazine and newspaper editions, furniture, stained glass lamps, quilts, pysanky eggs and much, much more.

Bring coins for the parking meter out front. Like a visit to mom's old, dusty chest in the attic, you will happily lose time here. Minus the dust.

Ibon is a newly opened store on Jasper Avenue. I had a chance to talk to the owner lady, and she explained that her store is for collectors of everything antique be it furniture, clothes, dinnerware or decorative objects for the home. At first glance, the store looks like well kept garage sale or flea market. Some of the products are indeed from flea market and Value Village. They are fixed and cleaned up, and then sold at elevated prices.
At Ibon, there are lots of porcelain and cast iron products, china and pottery, glassware and jewelry. Furniture selection consists of hutches, cupboards and armoires, as well as dressers, stools and hutches. At the time of my visit, none of the furniture has been fixed and refurbished, so the majority of items looked worn down. The owner said that once the carpenter does his magic on the furniture, it will look presentable.
I am sure many people who love and collect antiques will like shopping at Ibon. I don't care for antique furniture so I won't be shopping at this store any time soon.
