Totally loved this very cool place. They started us with water, Chinese tea and a itty bitty order of yummy soybeans.

I came with my girlfriend Serena. She had the sushi combo, ebi sunomono and miso while I enjoyed a miso, ebi sunomono, 1/2 order of salmon sashimi and some agetashi (fries tofu). It was so much that I took the last dish home and yet only came to $18-something.

Everything was delectable with even the wasabi looking fresh and whipped up. :)

If my transit riding butt could easily get her I'd be here way earlier.

I read so much about this place that I decided to give it a try.
The place is very simple, clean, friendly atmosphere, happy servers and fast service.
Large selection of rolls but not bento boxes available.
It is not cheap, it is not expensive but for the quality of the food I found it a bit pricey compared to other Japanese places that serve a bit more of a "gourmet sushi" for the same price.
They started us with complementary edamame beans and green tea.
I ordered the Philadelphia roll, the smoked salmon on the top was fresh but the avocado inside was brown :s
My bf ordered the chicken teriyaki roll, the yam tempura roll and the avocado roll; all of them were good and tasty (maybe it wasn't my lucky sushi day! lol).
I would give 4 stars for the service and the friendliness but I take one off for "quality-price"...Is there a way to give 3 1/2 stars????.

Was meeting a friend before a movie and wanted to catch a quick sushi dinner before hand.  I looked up some reviews on Yelp and found I love sushi,  it was ok, pretty average sushi place.  Sashimi was a little thin, special rolls are good but over priced I thought.  Fast service and friendly.  I came back today for lunch by myself, really hungry and I wanted to eat before I went grocery shopping at superstore and I thought they would have some lunch specials, but they didn't they only the regular menu plus house all day special.  Again it was ok.  I don't think I would go back.

Small, simple and clean.  The servers were happy and quick.  The food was pretty good.  A lot of tempura on the menu which was a little different.  I don't usually go for that.  But it's a convenient location and everything was tasty.  Pricing was a little higher than other places in Coquitlam but not too bad.

It's fresh, and quite fast. The portions were huge, so it was a good thing my husband and I only ordered a couple rolls between us to share. For under $25 we had 4 different rolls and we managed to leave feeling satisfied, not over stuffed, and didn't have to spend loads of money. Will certainly try this place again when in need of a quick sushi fix!

Friendly, delicious, reasonably-priced (for Coquitlam) sushi. It ain't gourmet, but it's better than most Japanese places in Coquitlam.

This is a good option for some pre-movie sushi, or a place to eat your troubles away if you came one strike short of that elusive 300 in bowling next door.

    Areas for improvement:
-I was disappointed that they didn't have bento boxes to go
-They were hard to find, as their sign either doesn't light up or was broken
-Parking was a little rough. But then, there is too much pollution in the world, so what am I complaining about?

"I love sushi" made me love sushi even more and more! I came here based on a yelp recommendation and I have had a great experience. It's a small sushi shop with personal touches in the walls, that make the shop very local and special

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and you feel the positive vibe all around. The server told us that out order was enough and she was right!

The sushi is  fresh, and as a newbie in the sushi world, I had a dynamite roll, and it was OMG so goooood! (I don't mind going back now and have another order). Then I shared some beef noodles and teriyaki chicken and they were both good too (esp the beef).

The only downside, believe it or not, was in the green tea they served, there was something wrong with it :( and for that I'm taking a star off this place).

But hey I'm still a fan!

Fresh, fast and large delicious portions.
California rolls, Dynamite rolls, salmon sashimi and prawn tempura are all recommended.

Hmmm.. the only reason why I would go here.. is that its conveniently located right next to Pearl Fever Bubble Tea, and walkable distance to the cinema. So if you're hungry, and you've got time to kill before you movie starts.. come on over, come on over baby.

Sushi is A-Ok 3 star. Nothing too much to rave about. The different items that you could try here.. is the Baked sushi :) My sister actually came here a few times during her pregnancy, since she isn't allowed to eat raw fish. So she gets her chomp on the baked sushi. Sometimes.. over baked, and it makes the rice too hard tho. But when done right, its yum!

I Love Sushi, YES I DO!

Don't let the fact this place is attached to a bowling ally deter you from going because this place is one of the best sushi joints outside of vancouver.

I've been a regular patron since they opened, just over a year now, and I have never been disappointed. They care about their food and their customers and it definitely shows. Service is fast and friendly and the food comes quick.

Like most sushi places in this city prices are cheap but often they will treat you to a few little things that don't go unnoticed. For example most times I will get complementary miso soup and edamame which are both delicious. If i'm ordering food to go they would give me a free cone while I wait for my order.

So if you love sushi, this place is for you!

TIP: If you are going to a movie and you think you don't have time for dinner, don't resort from getting food from the theatre. Go to I Love Sushi and tell them you are in a rush, you can be in/out in 15 min flat.

EXCELLENT! You know you must love the place when you no longer have to order your food and are just asked if you'd like your usual. I Love Sushi is my absolute favorite restaurant in Mailardville. The food is fantastic and the service is always great. My favorite menu item is the agadashi tofu. I can never have too much. So Yummy!

I love sushi is not a traditional sushi restaurant.  Going through it's menu, you can find a lot of special rolls that you don't usually see at other sushi places. Kind of interesting to try them out. Their nigiri is about 1.5 times bigger then traditional nigiri size. Fish is fresh.  Price is similar to other shops. Servers are friendly and hard working.   Couple little things though, I wish their rice is bit softer.  They should also remind their customers about how long it would take to prepare certain rolls. The honey roll we ordered showed up at the end of our meal. I almost thought they forgot about our order.   Over all, I would say it's a good place for people who likes to try some new style of rolls.
