AGREED!
I went in here today (valentines day is 3 days away!) with one of my girlfriends and we were both amazed as to how big this store is! I am so used to being in adult stores that are teeny tiny, but this one is spacious and has a ton of stuff in stock.
They have a ton of toys, massage oils, DVDs and Blurays, condoms etc. There is also a great selection of lingerie and dress up gear. They have shoes, boots (that look like they could reach my thighs) and underwear.
The ladies here were also very helpful. I usually feel a little awkward going into these stores, and I usually find that the staff feel awkward working there, but the staff here seemed very happy and comfortable and were very knowledgeable.
I will definitely be going back to this store in the future. -

Finally, Edmonton has a clean, well-kept adult store in a nice(r) part of town. Just off Argylle, this "megastore" is host to a massive collection of videos, magazines, and toys. Plus there's a ton of bachelorette type items. (Not really my taste, but it's cool that they have so much to choose from.) Around Halloween (and even other times of the year), there's lots of costumes available, too.
The other reviews are right that this store is way better than a lot of other adult stores in the city. Better area, better staff - you don't feel like you're in a sketchy adult store, you feel like you're in a nice, happy store that happens to sell adult material. This is seriously the best adult store that I have ever been to! The store is a good size and has an amazing selection of items. They've got walls of toys, all types of lube, condoms. There are tables with underwear, candles, lotions. There's a rack of Halloween costumes, they've got everyday dress-up wear. They have a table of thigh-high boots with high platform heels. There's a shelf of platform shoes like none I've seen before - including a pair of heels so high that they look almost like ballet pointe shoes because you're literally walking on your toes. Another interesting pair of shoes had a coin slot in the platform labeled "tips."
To give you an idea of the size of the store, they carry Liberator shapes - they've actually got quite a variety of them. In the back of the store, they have an adult swing fully set up.
They also have a selection of videos for sale which I didn't look too closely at but did happen to catch a glimpse and the ones I saw were instructional - like lap dancing.
They seem to carry a great deal of Hustler brand items and costumes. Be sure to check out the website before you go to print off a coupon! -

Hush...Shhhh Edmontons best adult store secret. Its wicked in here theres a huge bed in the middle of the store. The staff is super friendly and well I dont feel uncomfortable at all talking to them about "IT". The store is located in a safer area. The prices are good and well they have it all. If you wanna get naughty then yes if you need gags then yess. Hush is sweeeet. Only thing dont go at night..I think they close at 9..so get in your afternoon delite ;)

Awesome! Not dingy and scary like some other adult stores. It is big but some Source Adults are much bigger especially the movie selection. The toys they have are so much fun! I always want to leave with something new to try, and the selection of lube is vast and it caters to both men and women. Sometimes they have the cutest little sets of underwear and matching nightie tops and they even have cute, fun adult costumes for Halloween! My friends and I always have a blast going in here and playing with the novelty toys :) The people that work here are also friendly and knowledgeable in what they do. Check it out you wont be disappointed, even if your just looking to put some flair back in your relationship.

Agreed. Best place in town, Source Adult has some serious competition! Good prices, good stock, friendly service and in no way intimidating. This is the only place you need to go for every kink and toy you wish to indulge in!

Wow! i was skeptical when reading the other great reviews here, but after my visit yesterday it's clear that they are well deserved. I'm not one to frequent adult stores, in fact I've been in such a store only twice before (Source Adult) and found it dingy, trashy and unpleasant. I barely wanted to go near the employees, much less ask them any questions. I felt ashamed just to be in that store, so i was pleasantly surprised to say the least when I walked into Hush. The store is bright, clean, and attractive with good displays and a nice layout. It doesn't feel trashy or dirty in the slightest, and this pleasant environment made me feel immediately comfortable and at ease, the exact opposite of the way i felt in Source. But for me, the best part of the experience was the customer service i received. I was greeted immediately and offered assistance, which i declined because i was still in "awkward mode" just from the anticipation of walking into an adult store. The salesperson suggested i browse on my own and contact them when i needed help, which I did. It became immediately clear to me that I didn't know anything about what i had come to look for (an item my girlfriend suggested i get for us to try) so I asked the salesperson for assistance and sheepishly explained my situation. They were very helpful, and i don't know if they've been trained to do this or not, but they somehow managed to take all the awkwardness out of the situation. I couldn't help marvelling in it even as we were talking, because it felt like we could have been discussing the features and specs of television sets, or power tools. I don't know enough about adult store merchandise to comment on whether or not there's is reasonably priced, but thanks to the quality of the experience i really don't care. Thanks Hush, I will be back!
