I'm not sure if this disqualifies my review or not but I used to work at this hotel as a housekeeper.
It is a nice, small, hotel (about 80 rooms I believe) situated in a great spot overlooking the inner harbour. It is a short walk to the Empress, the parliament buildings and downtown Victoria.
I've had a few difference dishes from the kitchen and they all very good. -

I've been all over the world & stayed in the best & the worst. This was very disappointing. No AC which is ruining $300k of photo gear (I'm a commercial photographer). No mention of this on their web site. No cable TV for those of us up at 3AM retouching photos (again no mention of this on web). Small rooms...I have to climb over my camera cases & luggage to get to the door. Victorian, clean & pretty but feel that I was misled as to what I was expecting. I'll be looking for another place today & I guess we'll see who is going to repair my gear; I'll let my ins co handle that. Maybe I expected too much but I've been in tents in Africa, but was prepared for that. I'm new to Yelp so if I did anything wrong, I'm sorry.

We took the Victoria Clipper from Seattle, Washington and wanted a hotel that was close to where we docked. The Huntingdon was only one block up. It was very convenient with luggage and no car. The staff was very helpful and the room was huge and comfortable.
We would definitely stay there again. -

this is always one of my favorite places to stay whenever i visit victoria. it's so nice and quaint yet it keeps me grounded and some extra cash in my wallet. the staff here are very friendly and go out of their way to make every stay the very best.
the very first time i stayed here was not my favorite but still remains a great memory. my family came here for a summer and of all the places i end up staying right next door to my junior high pe teacher. just my luck! it's my summer vacation and i want to get away from school and i get so lucky. when we went out to dinner look who we ran in to. if i went to the pool look who was there. why me god?! it was a bummer for a teenage boy but it was still funny. -

Right by the ferry from the US, but keep on driving. This hotel is old and tired. In need of an update and repairs. With that said it's fairly priced and cleanish. I'd suggest going for a more centralized location and splurging a little in Victoria. It is a very cool town.
