As far as Humpty's goes, this is a good one. Large and clean, friendly service, good portions, and the excellent selection of family fare for which Humpty's is famous. This is one of the few chain restaurants in this particular neighbourhood. It is open 24 hours, which is another bonus if you work late at the nearby hospital.

I went here for breakfast with some guys from work, at their recommendation. I wasnt to sure about eating there haha...great decor! Took me back to 1988 haha. but i guess that is not the point of a family diner. my poached eggs were done in poaching cups??? Not impressed, however perogies instead of hash browns was a welcome change. The bangers were not bangers in my opionion. Tasted like a dry turkey sausage. The option of a flaxbread toast was nice, as was the side of raisin toast. The waitress was really nice, and was really funny! She made my day. As a result made a killer tip as well. Why dont more servers put their all into the job? It pays off in the end....
Dont order the gnocchi, was gross! Not really gnocchi actually.
Would give 2.5 stars if there was that option! -

I haven't been to a Humptys in awhile, but this one seems par for the course. Had breakfast, portions were large, but bacon was a little oldish and not hot. On the other hand, hashbrowns were super hot and tasty. Coffee was so-so, and prices seemed average.
