After calling half of Vancouver to find a specific type of Leatherman work knife, my boyfriend finally reached The House of Knives on Granville who helpfully located his product and set it aside for us to pick up. I don't make a habit of perusing The House of Knives, mostly because, well, I don't make a habit of purchasing knives, but like so many, I had no idea just how wide the range of products that House of Knives sells...in short, not just knives! Along with every type of kitchen, work and collectible knife and sword out there, House of Knives carries a selection of gadgets and gizmos from barware, flashlights, writing tools, lighters, scissors, binoculars and firestarters to manicure and shaving kits and storage for all those aforementioned items. The gentlemen at the counter were friendly, helpful and truly knowledgeable about the amass of unique, interesting and useful products. If you are a fan of Swiss Army knives, they have every kind you can imagine and even some you can't!
