Affordable and in a good location. The thing is, make sure you book your hotel before 5pm, because the booking site you'll book from will tell you there are rooms available and there might not be. The people at the front desk won't be helpful unless it's the owner and while he rectified our situation to our satisfaction (to a degree, since we got a single room when we paid for a double) the fact is...the whole thing is a hassle.
On the room, it's quaint but not bad. Clean, but not out of this world and more like a homely room than what you'd feel like is a hotel, except it's nicer than a budget motel. The location and price make it worthwhile though. Not a quiet area and really only good for a crashpad for one. -

My bf and I were transferred to this hotel from another hotel who only gave us CAD 50 back which would only cover a single bedroom. The owner was a nice man who let us stay in a double bedroom that was worth over CAD 90 since the singles were all occupied. It also helped that we were students. Our room was pretty spacey that included a really old stove, moldy fridge and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. Although, it was in poor condition, it was sufficient for the amount of traveling we were doing. It is in a great location surrounded by a bunch of shops.
