We spent one fantastic night at Hotel Acadia and would go back in a heartbeat. The staff we encountered (I spoke with four different folks at reception at various points) were all pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself is small, bricky, funky, but clean and well maintained. Our room (we had a Standard room), again small (but comfortably so), had a (non-functional but pretty) fireplace, as well as one window, a desk, and an arm chair. The lighting was great - pot lights and a funky chandelier above the bed - and the one brick wall added cozy character.

Add to all that the superb location right in Vieux Quebec and the incredible price (our room was $82 and included breakfast, wifi, and access to the rooftop 'spa' - aka hot tub)... Hotel Acadia is a gem!

I loved this hotel. It's essentially a brick-walled apartment loft that overlooks the street and even has a rooftop hot tub! The only problem is that the building is so old, there are hundreds of dangerous stairs to climb up/down, and they use regular house keys to access your room, which is not convenient to carry around. Breakfast was at a restaurant around the corner from the hotel and they had great service and atmosphere. All in all, I would definitely come back here. It's cozy, quaint, cute, and has a lot of character.

Cute, well-situated, reasonable prices and a super helpful staff.  Once we checked into our room, which was essentially an apartment, we felt like we were living in Quebéc and not staying there for a couple of days.  Room was clean, well-appointed, attractive - but had a small bathroom.  No big deal though.

Beds leave a little to be desired in terms of mattress thickness, but overall a pleasant stay.

The room sucked re: sink in the bedroom, but ur in old Quebec City surrounded by 400 years of architecture.  I swear it was haunted by a coureur des bois and a smokin hot one at that!!!!
