Review from Roma M.
I'm doing a 30-day pass here under the Hot Yoga Wellness brand and I have to say, it's just like the other locations in Woodbridge (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...) and Scarborough (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...), with the choice of 60, 75 or 90 minute classes.
HYW Concord is a very short bus ride or drive away from York University right on Steeles and there is ample parking available at the front. At the various timings I've taken class here, I've never once found it to be at all sketchy despite it's location in a commercial building (I just realized that all 3 locations are in similar commercial strips). Many restaurants are located across this studio, including a Starbucks and a Superstore should you need a water bottle or energy bar.
The main difference between this location in Thornhill and the others are the quality of teachers, and exceptional customer service at the front desk.
I've taken classes with Lisa K, Linda, and Jaclyn but my favourite instructor by far is Elena.
She begins each class with a very fresh take, sets an intention for the day, and takes perfect command of the class, adjusting where postures need adjustments. Elena is completely involved in your practice from the beginning all the way until you leave the studio. If she teaches at least 1 class a day, I'll be sure to make the trip here more often.
Nutritional Services, Reflexology, Osteopathy and Massage Therapy are also offered at this studio.Listed in: Yoga Fire!

Review from Sarah X.
Vancouver, BC
Really?!?! This place is a joke. I have practiced in about 10 yoga studios around the GTA since moving from BC early this year, and this has to be the worst. Poor instruction, rude staff, and terrible smells in the changeroom. I will be driving 15 minutes more just to find a studio that provides a safe, calm atmosphere.
Oh yeah, and the instructor kept calling me Susan, even after kindly saying that my name is Sarah.
Lame place.
