Excellent job Hot Wax Entertainment! Hot wax recently DJ'd at our wedding. We had countless guests approach us after our big day telling us how great the music was and how they did not want the night to end. People danced all night! Hot wax was so professional and flexible. They took the time to sit down with us before our big day and go through the kinds of music we wanted, they took guest requests and just kept the whole night fun! They really knew when to play the right songs and how to get our guests up and dancing! Thank you so much for such a job well done!

The most professional DJ company in town. I have worked together with Ozzie, Elliot and Hot Wax on several occasions and they do not miss any minute detail. Their playlist is always current, as well they always have an arsenal of all those "staple" songs, have a great sound system, a polished presentation, numerous extras such as led lighting and photo booths and their DJs are always impeccably dressed. At the top of their class.

All I can say is WOW! If music is important to you, if polish is important to you, if client care (with STYLE) is important to you... I can't recommend Hot Wax highly enough!!
I was referred to Hot Wax through a business contact. I had been to a corporate event they DJ'd and MC'd and it was awesome but I hadn't been to one of their weddings so I was going on what my associate was telling me... and my associate was right. They were AMAZING.
From my first appointment with them, they were so professional, organized, knew what questions to ask, had a million helpful resources and referrals to help me with my planning... SO different from other DJ's who all seemed to work part time. It was clear that Hot Wax is full-time and professional! WOW!
The evening was MAGICAL! They seemed to read the moods of the crowd so well and infuse some energy when necessary and bring it down when necessary. I gave them a few specifics, which they delivered, and then asked them to entertain my friends... which they DELIVERED! People didn't want to leave! We had to kick them off the dance floor!
Afterward, I even got a personal card from the owners thanking me for making them a part of my day. And NOT an e-card... a real card in an envelope. So impressed. I felt like I was their only client.

Established in 1985
Hot Wax started in 1985 by Elliott Kipnes, a DJ who loved to entertain. The business grew over the years thru word of mouth from raving fans, who were sharing the Hot Wax experience to what Hot Wax is today: a boutique style DJ service with 12 exclusive DJ's capable of entertaining at 6 events per evening. Elliott and Ozzie strive to be leaders in the industry offering their 25 years of event planning expertise to their discerning clientele. Their goal is to work with each client to create a signature event that their guests will rave about for weeks, months, even years later!
Meet the Business Owner: Ozzie K.
Ozzie Kipnes, co owner of Hot Waxbrings over 20 years of experience with her from past careers in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries, where she planned and managed hundreds of events for celebrities and business leaders. Ozzie's entrepreneurial spirit took flight in the early 1990s, when she created her own catering company, Second Helpings. Since then, she's been on the rampage to build business opportunities, which she does with enthusiasm and flare! Ozzie is currently on a quest to produce superior products in the DJ market place. Hot Wax is a great example of Ozzie's determination and will to create a DJ company that reaches markets beyond the wedding crowds. Microsoft and Helijet are just two major corporations who have raved about the Hot Wax experience. When she's not working the job, Ozzie is working the room. An avid networker and volunteer, Ozzie belongs to Business Network International (BNI), CSES and has received numerous awards as Master Networker.
