OMG! Am I ever so happy that my job has me driving all over the city, because if it didn't I might never have found this amazing gem that is the Hot Italian Sandwich! Just recently opened from as far as I can tell, this place is located right when Florence st turns into York st so it might be a little hard to find, but if you make the trip to find it you'll be more than glad you did!
Stopped in for lunch the other day and it was pretty busy with local bussinessmen, firemen, cops, workers, etc all coming in for some hot Italian sandwiches! I decided to try a meatball sandwich on this ocasion because it was my first time trying it and I wanted to kinda test the waters as they would say, lol. Anyways to say the least the sandwich was absolutly amazing! First of all it was the size of my head that's how big it was! And soooo delicious, amazingly fresh bread, and the meatballs were great as well, the sauce reminded me of something my nonna would make as well so you know it's authentic!
A sign said they make the best veal sandwiches in the city and being an Italian veal lover lol I have to come back to try one!! The only problem is it can get a little pricey for a sandwich, escpecially if you get all the toppings on it, and it's also maybe not located in te nicest area of the city but none the less an amazingly good place for a big lunch or quick filling dinner. Check it out you'll be glad you did!! A new London landmark in the making. -

The veal is done right . Works include provolone , green peppers, onions and mushrooms . Top the meal with a brio all for under $13
Nothing fancy the food speaks for itself. I've been here a couple times this month.
