This is an adorable little catering company run by a husband and wife team. Decor is basic with wooden tables and a warm yellow glow. The husband/chef works in a clean kitchen in back, while the wife/front-of-house person darts back and forth behind a high counter.
Each day there is a slightly different offering as well as some basics. Fare ranges from West Coast to East Indian. Every day there is a hearty soup on offer. All options can be eaten in the tiny dining area or taken home.
It perfectly appeals to the local clientele with foil containers of heat-at-home dinners.
Also, the actual sign outside the store reads "Haute Cuisine" (with a circumflex -- aka a 'roof thingy' for all you French students -- floating over one of the vowels). I get a daily kick out of the pun.
