    OK, now I'm ready to share my little story--it's a metaphor in several verses:

    [removed witty and hilarious metaphor story because someone at HostMDS apparently didn't like it, though anyone who wants to read it may contact me for a copy of it. Please do, I think it's too great not to save and share privately.]

    Let's just say, it ends with:

    "APPALLED is not even the least possible way to describe how I feel.

    (But he [HostMDS] doesn't know I've found another sugar daddy [ http://www.yelp.ca/biz... ] to love and hold me.)"

    Trust me, it's a funny story in 7 paragraphs that includes having a sugar daddy pimp slapped me, a Black AMEX that gets denied, gold diggers drinking champagne, a Chanel chenille rug, a swishy, pissy waiter named Raul and more. All the facts are real, but the names have been changed. Oh yeah, it's a metaphor, so it's fiction based on fact. Did I mention it was hilarious? I'm sure it would be given 2 thumbs up by Ebert and what'shisname, or 5 stars by that other film critique organization. Heck! If I could, I'd rate it 5 stars here on Yelp!

    I used this company for years back when it was Hostingplex. Suddenly they merged with another domain hosting company and became HostMDS and turned to supercrap.

    Hostingplex went above and beyond all my expectations, expecially with technical support. HostMDS flops like a semi-dead fish.

    I requested a pro-rated refund. I wanted out of their service. My website was unavailable for over 1 month and still months later is going in and out of service, certain features once available to me on the back end of the website are now gone and there is no light at the end of the tunnel as to when they will return. Their customer service sucks, they bypass questions with more questions and give you a runaround not worth dealing with.

    I haven't been able to get my money back, and neither have other unsatisfied customers. I filed a BBB but that wasn't helpful. Frankly, it sounds like a scam to me -they can't offer me a pro-rated refund?

    My last resort is to simply tell others that if you are looking for hosting, look somewhere else.
