This is a very small hut near the top of 7th Heaven on Blackcomb. They have soups, danishes, meat pies, and European cheese and deli meats. I stopped in to grab a late breakfast and had the goulash while my dining partners opted for the beef meat pie and chicken meat pie. The goulash was good and hearty, the meat pies came with a side of mashed potatoes, gravy, and a small wiener. Best part was, the food was good and it did not break the bank.

Being so small, the Horstman's food selection is limited to chili, soup, and burgers when the weather's nice. The food really isn't why you go to Horstman though. On those bright, clear winter days, there is not a better vista in the world. Standing on the front deck you can overlook mountain after mountain. The rolling majesty is breathtaking. I definite must for anyone with a lift pass.

Warning for snowboarders: It's a real pain to get to. Be prepared for either the longest cat track of your life (take the lower cat track because it's a little shorter) or a series of T-Bars which I hate even more. Beginner skiiers shouldn't have a problem getting or leaving there though.

Great food near the top of the mountain.  It's a bit hard to get to, so it's not too crowded even at peak lunch hours.  European-style, featuring soups, wieners, meat and cheese plates, and great breads.
