My initial impressions upon going in is that reception area was too spaced out with no host in sight to greet or seat me. I had to look around a bit to catch somebody's attention. Also the lights on the tables were "in your face" kind of too bright. Tables were about half full on a Friday night. I didn't mind all that too much as I came here for food and drinks.
Standard side dishes such as mash potato, seaweed, kimchi, etc. Also standard menu offerings: japchae, bulgogi, galbi, kimchi jjigae, seafood panjeon. It was ok but I can't really say anything stood out.
A bit of disappointment is the first time seeing Makgeolli (traditional K rice wine) served in a plastic bottle. It would have added a more authentic touch if it was served in a ceramic or wooden bowl with a ladle.
I believe run by the same group as Red Chicken on Robson? And yes I would probably come back.
