It's a souvenir shop in a neat and clean and not too cramped way. I appreciate the cleanliness of the store, but to me a souvenir shop is loaded and jammed packed with crap. Even if its crap that I don't want or need, its one of those things I like about these kinds of places. This may have come from my many visits of souvenir shops along Interstate 40 in New Mexico and Arizona, and for some reason liked what they have.
I do appreciate that they have t-shirts in all sizes, but they don't have a good variety of t-shirts. What Ive seen there last night didn't impress me, though I found a t-shirt which I liked the best, even though it gets a grade of B from me.
Oh sure they have lots of nick nacks and butt whacks and this and that and the other. They even sell Canadian Maple Syrup (mmm) and wing sauce from Buffalo, New York's "Anchor Bar", where hot wings were supposedly invented. They need MORE t-shirt styles and designs, and MORE cap styles and designs. They also need LESS space, or need to get MORE stuff.
Staff members were friendly, though not very helpful. Maybe it was a bad day, though business seemed really slow last night.
The store is close, if not walking distance to many hotels in the area. They have potential to get better. I just hope the American side of the Falls gets better. More on that later.Listed in: Niagara Falls, USA and Canada
