Rolled into the Homewood late on a week night after a long days motorcycle ride. Checked in and inquired about food / drink. Nada. However, the lovely girl behind the desk suggested that I toddle over to the Holiday Inn, across the parking lot.
Which I did. Which has a bar / restaurant. Which was closing. But. Another lovely girl, this time behind the bar, offered me a menu for Boston Pizza and suggested that I get delivery....while she cleaned up I could even have beers from her bar. Score. That pizza was a god-send (as were the beers).
The Homewood is very typical for the brand. Clean, comfortable and nothing shocking....reasonable accommodations for reasonable money.
If you're passing through London, you surely could do worse. -

I had some work to do first thing this morning in London so I stayed as this hotel.
The rooms are actually suites with a full kitchen (fridge, stove, dishwasher, dishes, etc.). They are quite spacious and the bed was a king. Alas, there was no tub, just a large shower. There is a small gym and a pool (I didn' t have a chance to check them out) in the hotel. It's a great deal for $135 a night.
Oddly there isn't a restaurant or bar in the hotel nor is there a grocery store nearby to make something in the suite's kitchenette. From 5pm to 7pm, Monday to Thursday, the hotel has a free "reception" ... basically all you can eat supper. Last night's meal was boneless chicken breast smothered in a mushroom sauce and salad. I'm not a fan of mushrooms or salad. The nearest restaurant was next door at the Holiday Inn, the Network Bar & Grill. That's where I went (in the freezing cold!) ... kinda wacky having to spend $$ at another hotel for supper.
If the lack of restaurant isn't an issue and you don't want to take a bath, I'd recommend this hotel.
