I know a lot of people love this place but for me, it's okay. I don't love it nor do I hate. The food is good but not very memorable for me. I've been here for group lunches and they do a good job but I find that sometimes the service time lags a little. I don't find that lunch is easily done within the hour if you're dining here during the work week. That being said, the service is nice and friendly.
The decor definitely gives you that Greek vibe. The food price and portion are both very fair. I usually go with the chicken souvlaki meal ($11.95) which includes one skewer of chicken, soup, Greek salad and a choice of rice or lemon potatoes. And you get a bread basket for starters. The bread basket is nothing special - a small assortment of somewhat dry bread. You can choose which soup you want but I usually go with the avgolemono or lemon rice soup. It's not overwhelmingly lemony but has a good citrus taste with a small portion of rice. The chicken skewer is very juicy though I don't find it very flavourful. The Greek salad is not the traditional version so it does include lettuce but it has a nice dressing and is a definite crowd pleaser. I usually go with rice which is topped with a bit of a tomato sauce - once again it's good enough.
Most lunch meals are around $10-$12, so a definite winner for a sit down lunch.
There's ample parking available around their restaurant. And if they run out, there's always room on Ellice Ave.
