This was a really popular church when I lived in the area. Every Sunday, it's filled with families and elderly couples. It's very likely that you will recognize many people if you're a member of the community.
The sermon is usually light-hearted, though sometimes more serious, but never boring or too lengthy. The mass itself isn't too long, either.
I know this might sound strange and random, but they also have the best Holy Communion bread I've ever had. They have the round and unleavened Eucharist, but they also have blessed softer, moister, sweeter bread. As a child, I always found it a mystery as to why they had both breads, and also what kind of bread it was. I've never been to another Catholic church that also offers a different type of bread, so I thought this was really interesting.
