This store is something else. It's like having the opportunity to visit markets in Morocco, India and Turkey, but in Leslieville. With items as varied as turkish bath towels, decorated horses on wheels from Indian temples, moroccan serving dishes and intricate marble tables, it's a great place to find a unique housewarming or wedding gift or something to add a little more character to your own home.
The shop owner himself is quite a character and its almost worth a trip to the store just to hear his stories about the shopping trips and origins of each item in his store.
We picked up beautiful, colourful tea towels made in India at a factory started by Ghandi himself (or so the story goes...) for $9 each.
