Ahem. Now serving breakfast stromboli.
I've always stopped here after work for a little treat. Well, today, I noticed that that they are NOW open at 8am AND they have breakfast stromboli's which consist of egg whites, spinach, turkey sausage and provolone cheese. Grab 2 for $5 and kick-start your day.1 Previous Review: Show all »

WHY ARE THESE THINGS SO TINY!?!??!?
I don't want mini cannoli's, I want full-sized versions, because they are so freakin' fantastic, I need bigger ones to stuff in my mouth(that's what she said).
Ugh, part of me wishes I wouldn't have inadvertently parked right in front of this place, and waited around for it to open, and buy half a dozen to take home, and then give half of them to my boyfriend. I either should have eaten them all myself, or just never gone in here. I WANT ALL OF THE CANNOLI'S. NOW, DAMN IT!!!!
They are really expensive. I mean, $14 for 6 tiny little cannoli's. Really!?!?!?! But they are so damn good.
Try the Seattlitie(espresso), it's fantastic. -

My quest to find good cannoli in Seattle led me to here. Thinking this would be a good "combined family" event (ages 4-18), we loaded up the SUV with the 5 kids & headed over. We were lucky to find street parking (though it was a Sunday afternoon), and it was the end of the day.
I was surprised to find that these were mini cannoli, priced about $2.50 each. The owner was very accomodating to our crowd, and offered us samples. She also offered us a discount if we paid in cash (we bought 2 cannoli for each of us, and a few Italian sodas). So, that's a plus.
Let me just say that I'm used to ricotta-filled cannoli. I had the lemon & the espresso. they were both good. I suppose for a treat, these are worth the money...but I can't see myself driving from the Eastside for them.
It was a fun adventure, though.Listed in: That's Italiano!

From a Jan 2012 visit:
I don't get how my friends never heard of a cannoli. Maybe because there was no Holy Cannoli in their lives. Chatting with owner Adrienne(sp?) felt like I was with a girlfriend as she made my Veggee & Holy Strombolis. They were a bit too doughy for me but tasty. The stars of the evening were the cannolis. My favorite was the one with the rum cream. Now I'm dragging my friends to Holy Cannoli so they can experience Italian goodness their lives have been lacking. -

Yum - these cannoli are delicious - creamy on the inside and crispy-flakey on the outside. The stromboli (meat inside pastry) are also delicious!

Tried this place for the first time since our company moved to its new location across the street. The menu is small but everything looks delicious. I had lunch here so I didn't get to try the desserts, but you better believe that I will be going back to try some later. The only thing that is "bad" about the place is that everything is so small. That is fine once you know it, but you may be surprised the first time that you order. The woman working there was extremely nice. The service is top notch.

This cute shop has some good cannolis! Yum yum! My boyfriend and I came in here craving some sweets and we got six of them. They were normally $14 but for some reason they just gave us half off that day (President's Day holiday?) so $7 for six cannolis was an awesome deal.
I don't remember the flavors exactly but about half of them were chocolate ones. These were so yummy and creamy. The shells are kind of soft/chewy, probably from being refrigerated all day. I think we also had one that had some kind of yellow creme in it and that was also delicious. One was a lemony flavor but we thought the lemon was too strong.
Great place, and the owners seem very friendly as well. -

Service was a bit slow.
I actually didn't get a cannoli or stomboli (SINNNERRRRRRRR!) just because the cost didn't seem effective for a full lunch, so i ended up getting the Antipasto salad. Delicious! Great cheeses, meats, and pepperoncinis. I'll probably come back sometime for a snack date with my fiancee and try the cannoli. A bit nervous because, like all wise lads from Italian families, I'm not sure anyone can make Italian dishes better than my grandmother. -

Just a hungry girl, livin' in a hungry world
She took the coworkers down to Belltoooowwwwn,
Found a baker girl, born and raised in south Detroit
She had a Canonli Shop Downnnntooowwwwn,
A cannoli in a gleaming case,
The smell of baked goods and stromboli,
For a few bucks, lunch is served
It goes on and on and on and on
Patrons, waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their tummys growling from the delicious smells
Hungry people, living just to find delight
Eating, and it tastes so riiiiiiggggggggggghhhhhhhhht.
DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'
HOLD ON TO THAT FEE-EELIN'
HUNGRY PEOPLE!
Yes, I just made a classic Journey song into a review. It was truly that awesome.
Wait, why are you still reading this, go get yourself some cannoli you fool!
And don't forget that delicious stromboli!
Kid friendly or Vegetarian lunch (Holy Stromboli is just meat and cheese goodness my friend, Edgee Veggee is veg-tastic) and the cannoli (I tried almost all of them, the Downtown Janet was my favorite but the Seattlite was also A-MAZING) is better than any you've ever had.
Tip: get more than you need, you'll crave them the second you finish what you got. -
Review from Lisa T.
I needed to bring an Italian-themed dessert to a party the other night. I thought cannoli would be perfect. And trusty Yelp directed me to Holy Cannoli.
They have four types of cannoli and honestly, they are all good (yes, I did end up having a bite of them all). They are cream-filled, unlike how some cannoli is filled with ricotta. But the cream is flavorful and light.
The owner helped explain the difference in cannoli and the difference w/ the flavors. She was SO nice. She let me sample one of the cannoli's too (which she didn't have to since I already placed my order) - but it was nice to get a sneak bite-preview of what I was bringing.
The sandwich options she had looked tasty and very reasonably-priced.
I'd definitely go back and I hope others give this place a try. Just come in for a quick treat with a cannoli or two! -

Whaaaaaat, real cannoli in Seattle?! At last!
I have eaten my way through Italy (and NY's Little Italy), so I feel that I have the authority to judge these as quality cannoli. I tried all four flavors and they're all fantastic, even the rum raisin, which I was a bit skeptical about. And the owner is so nice! She gave us samples and chatted as the Stromboli baked fresh (sausage one is the best). I will definitely be taking my Italian family back here for a treat! Delizioso :) -

As prior reviewers note, owner is an absolute gem. Walked in here on a whim after passing by from Street Bean Coffee (also great) after having sampled the cannoli at a dinner party before.
These cannolis are light, perfectly-sized as individual treats, and beautifully handmade in the shoppe. Owner provided samples of the Downtown Janet (rum-raisin cream, topped with sliced almonds) - have never had anything like this. The Detroiter is the classic cannoli with vanilla cream. My favorite is the Seattlelite with a divine espresso cream.
Menu offerings are clean and simple, strombolis and sandwiches also available.

Holy Cannoli is right!
Fresh, homemade cannoli and caprese salads and sandwiches are the way to my heart. The cannoli here is amazing - I tried both the Detroiter (vanilla cream) and the Downtown Janet (rum raisin). The flavors were rich and creamy and definitely crave worthy. For lunch, I had a caprese salad and a hozza mozza sandwich, which was a three-bite caprese sandwich. The veggies were crisp, the bread was soft, the dressing was good but not overpowering - perfect. Oh and the daily tea was a green tea with saffron!
Service here is great - the generous owner is so excited about the food she makes and treats everyone like family! Plus, everything is compostable, and receipts are even emailed to you to save paper. Be sure to bring cash to tip though - there's no tipping with credit cards.
There's a small seating area in the back, but the line moved a little slowly, so if you're in a rush, be sure to call in your order ahead.Listed in: Belltown, Yes! Yes! Yes!, Lunch in Belltown, Get Baked!

What a great place!... I work right across the street, so it was really convenient to just pop over and pick up some really tasty cannolis... I got 2 dozen and brought them to an xmas party... They were a hit!
Service was excellent. They were very helpful... and I truly appreciated the sample. They didn't have to do it, but it really made a great impression. -

First decent cannoli I have had since I was last in New York ten years ago. For those of you who do not know what a cannoli is, it is a delicious Sicilian pastry made from fried pastry dough and filled with sweet cream. If you have not had one of these yet, here is your chance rite here in Seattle. The shop is independently owned and ran by the sweetest woman who also makes delicious savory foods as well. If you need a quick fix or are looking for a decent lunch location in Belltown Holy Cannoli is for you. Best and only cannoli shop in Seattle! Can't complain about the service either, five stars hands down. :)

My coworkers brought back some cannoli and stromboli for lunch today. The stromboli was flavorful (meaty) and a buttery mouthful of heaven.
I had two of the cannoli, one traditional and one espresso/chocolate type (i didn't order so I don't know what they're called). Both were awesome, but the espresso/chocolate one really stood out as amazing.
Prices seem a little high if you only want to sample one or two items, but if you get a box full it seems like quite a deal. -

There are a few aspects of the Holy Cannoli experience that hold it back from a four or five star review. The first being that the owner is almost too friendly- I waited for about 10 minutes while she chatted with the patron in front of me, and the purchase was for just two cannoli!
I really do love the cannoli itself. They're perfectly sweet and delicate, and a nice break from similar sweets like cupcakes. I'm also more than happy to pay the $2.50 for each to support a local business with a unique product.
The other issue I had was with the layout of the shop. It's got to be about 300 square feet, most of which is a skinny little aisle leading to stools set up against one wall. It would be pleasant to have faster to-go service as a line started to form which made it difficult to leave the small space.Comment from Adrienne B. of Holy Cannoli 1/9/2012

OOOOOO... I've had my eye on this place for about a month. Driving by today on my way to lunch I had to turn around when I saw the open sign glowing. A cute little corner spot, Holy Cannoli wasn't quite operational but that didn't stop them from providing some great food. We ordered a dozen stromboli ($20) and a dozen cannoli ($20).
In our box of stromboli we had the Guido Schmeedo, a rosemary bread filled with sausage, and the Holy Stromboli, a ham and cheese sensation. I was highly partial to the Holy Stromboli. Amazingly good combination, especially when dipped in some warm marinara sauce. Highly recommend.
In our box of cannoli, we had some Detroiter, Seattlites, Esereldi, and some Janets. Strange names for the cannoli but no matter. The Detroiter is a traditional cannolo. Not what I would call traditional, since there is no ricotta cheese, but somehow she makes it work with just cream. Light and full of flavor. An excellent choice if you're new to the cannoli game. For those of us who have been around the block (namely Mike's Pastry in Boston), you might be looking for something a bit more extravagant. The Seattlite is a coffee flavored option that, as someone who doesn't like coffee, I found to be simply amazing. Not too heavy, more of a mocha taste with lots of sweetness and only a slight aftertaste of the bitter espresso. The Downtown Janet was a vanilla and almond combo. If you like vanilla, this is THE option. Very bold flavor and a simple pairing that goes well with the almonds. The Esmeraldi Chocolati was probably my favorite. Not overly sweet and topped with mini chocolate chips, this option tastes pretty much like chocolate custard and is wonderful. This will be my option upon my future returns.
Holy Cannoli is on track for success with a passionate owner who is talented and charming. The only reason I can't give her 5 stars is because of the uneven fillings in the stromboli. Some were loaded and others were almost breadsticks. Not a big deal when you are ordering a dozen but if you only get one or two, you'd hate to get shorted. We let them know of the issue and we were assured that they would be working to resolve it.
I'll be back, no doubt about it. -

Going to rate this as the best cannoli in Seattle. The Stromboli was also good. Go with Holy Stromboli. It was heaven in the mouth.

I first found out about this place because of yelp! This place has the best cannoli's I have ever had. I have been to multiple places specifically for cannolis. Others have shells that are too thick or a little burnt and the fillings are either too sweet or have little taste. The ones at Holy Cannoli are on the smaller side, but the filling is perfect. It isn't too sweet and is almost velvety. So the only con about this place (strictly speaking about cannolis) is they are small; but look at it this way, you can eat more because they are small :) Plus, the owner is just as friendly as she can be! I will frequent this place often since I live on upper Queen Anne!

I had my first-ever cannoli here today, and I'm in love. The owners are friendly and the prices are good (discounts if you pay cash--you should always pay cash). I can't speak at all to how these cannoli compare to any others, but I literally became two hundred percent sexier after eating a couple of Seattleite Cannoli.

The cannoli at Holy Cannoli are excellent! They make a nice light dessert and come in several flavors; my favorite is the Seattlite, which has a delicious coffee flavor. The owner, Adrienne, is wonderfully helpful and friendly, as are all the other staff. I highly recommend stopping in for a visit!

I just happened to be in the area when I noticed that this place opened. I had time to kill so walked in to see what it was all about. Adrienne (sp?) and her dad were working at the time and they were both SUPER friendly! They explained the different flavors of cannoli's that they had. I tried the Seattlite and the Esmeraldi. Both were amazing! I haven't stopped thinking about them since! :)
I heard the stromboli's are delicious as well. I can't wait to go back to get more cannoli's and try the stromboli's. The food is amazing and the owners are so sweet! It's a new favorite! -

This place is amazing! Cute little shop, awesome owner, and absolutely heavenly cannolis! They have only been open a few weeks and I've already consumed a couple dozen (woops!).
My favorites are The Seattlite (mocha flavored), The Detroiter (original), and the Esmeraldi Chocalit (chocolate). SOOOO GOOD! I will definately be using these guys for all my future dessert needs. The cannolis are perfect to serve at parties, lucheones, dinners, etc. And unlike cupcakes (the current craze) you don't feel a little ill and a whole lotta guilty after you finish eating a cannoli. :) I agree with their motto, "A cannoli a day makes life better!" -
