This hotel apparently used to be a Quality Inn and was bought by Holiday Inn, which is in the middle of renovations.  The renovations did not bother us, although it made for some strangeness (ex. walls where the wallpaper was falling off of them and no toilet paper holder in our newly redone bathroom).

Since the room was clean and the bathroom all nice and new, I can let a lack of toilet paper holder go!

The king-sized bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was a nice size. There is a Timothy's coffee downstairs, which we did not use, but I can see the convenience to.

The surrounding area was a little strange. The area directly around the hotel consisted mainly of restaurants and a garage across the street, but a block away is a plant of some kind and it is totally sketchy looking at night...especially accompanied by domestic disputes taking place on the sidewalk outside of the plant! Oh well!

Other than the price (I really hate paying a lot for hotels in small, junky towns, with nothing really to offer than the reason you are going, which in our case was a wedding. I feel like that have no business charging a lot), we had a nice stay here.

(Note: The price we paid, but booked way in advance, was $120/night, which I know is not necessarily considered very expensive, but please note what I'm judging based on. Also note that the price right now is $180/night even on weeknights).
