Best Squab in Richmond!
Served super piping hot. Use your hands and just get in there and rip it apart. As soon as you do, the squab is gushing with juices and the steam comes rising out. Super crispy outside and super tender moist dark meat inside. The squab here is awesome and totally fresh!
Order the oysters and try the taro dish too.
With respect to decor, don't expect much...its super cramped inside and it totally reminds me of the tiny places you eat at in HK underneath the overpass, but in that same light, the food is just as good as HK. -

They say: One of the top 10 faves for a Chinese chef.
I say: Tasty representation of new style Canto food.
Event: Went here for my grandma's birthday and booked out the restaurant. Efficient and friendly staff.
Atmosphere: This is the way I like it, small and loud - just like in HK.
Food: Close to perfect. Better than your average-traditional Canto banquet food. Modern twists to old classics.
i.Heart: Hoi Tong's version of "sow see guy". Instead of jelly fish, chicken and the fried crispies, it was chicken with julienned melons (mouth watering).
Service: What you expect from your typical Chinese dining restaurant, fast and friendly.
