I wish I can give this place a 4.5 instead of 5, so I'm going to round up to a 5.

Wowsers....this place is tasty.  Not the full of MSG, salty, oily good.  The wholesome, made from mom's kitchen good.

When I felt entered this place, there was literally a club type line out the door at 3:30PM which most places are empty around this time.  The guy said they didn't have any tables and to come back in 20 minutes.  "Do you want my name?" I said..... "No, just come back in 20"  We come back and there was a table ready for us.

We ordered 2 plates with every type of meat they had and their home made soup as well as a lemon black tea..  The wait for the food to come was about 45 seconds if even that.

All I can say is WOW.  Best meat I have ever had outside of Taiwan.   The soup was very home made without MSG.  The drink was ok.  A bit to sweet for me.

The reason I wanted to give a 4.5 out of 5 is because the entire time there was almost too much going on.  There was a constant line of people that watch us eat while they either waited for a table or for takeout.  The waitress was going 100mph and you almost felt like you should be around the same speed.

But if you come here for just the food and not the experience, then I would give this place a 10. :)

Until next time.  Talks for reading.

PS this place is CASH ONLY.  They accept USD at 1:1 ratio.

We sought this restaurant out after seeing the 4 1/2 star rating. It was acceptable, but if 3 stars = average, then this is 3 stars. Solid meat dishes, but nothing special.

Staff were very friendly, and lunch was served lickety-split.

This place is very small, with more people ordering takeout than dining in.

We'd go back to be sure if in the 'hood, but wouldn't go out of our way.

Nestled underneath the Real Canadian Store is a small little restaurant that would go unnoticed unless you were shopping in the center. You may hesitate just because of the precarious location that it's in. But if you're in the mood for some BBQ and roast meats, you've found the place, HK BBQ Master.

The inside is small with several tables to have the waitstaff serve you. But you can grab the food for takeout which is the norm for the locals here. The two meats and rice is the perfect sized meat portion and generous serving of white rice that will satisfy most people's appetite.

The BBQ Duck & Soy Sauce Chicken over Rice ($7.50) is a combination of, first the BBQ duck which is by my standards, good but somewhat subpar in the grand scale of BBQ duck joints. It's good but it didn't have that fatty and savory flavor. The second is the soy sauce chicken that is both moist and very tasty. It is by far my favorite meat that HK BBQ Master serves. Part of why I love it so much is that the soy sauce from the chicken drizzles into the rice to give the white rice some salty flavor. Delicious alone, but when you add the very flavorful scallion ginger sauce, it really takes it over the top. The mixture of scallion, ginger, salt, and oil, which is the binding ingredient, melds all the flavors together into one of the most delicious concoctions ever. Just thinking of it has my taste buds salivating.

The Roasted Pork & BBQ Pork over Rice ($7.50) are both very solid meats. The BBQ pork is slightly sweet from the caramelization of the honey and salty from the soy sauce and hoisin glaze. Delicious in its own right. The roasted pork is tender and has a subtle fattiness and crispy skin. It's very good but for the best roast pork, Parker Place Meat & B.B.Q. reigns supreme.

If you're looking for some cheap eats and generous portions, HK BBQ Master is the perfect choice. And HST tax is included! Whether after a shopping spree at the Real Canadian Store or just looking for a quick take out, be sure to put this on your itinerary of places to eat when in Richmond.

Best BBQ Pork! Always have massive lineups like its boxing day.

I prefer the Roasted Pork at Parker Place! and they are closed on Wednesdays when I usually get my BBQ Pork craving.

We have ordered a 1/2 duck at HK BBQ Master on 5 previous occasions (2 times eat-in, 3 times take-out). We have always raved about the duck and considered it the best we had ever eaten.

Today, we once again ordered 1/2 duck for take-out and was very disappointed because for some reason, most of the duck breast portion of our order was missing. I did not keep a close eye on the meat cutter so I did not see him cut-up and package the 1/2 duck. We think the meat cutter siphoned off most our duck breast for another order. I have cooked and cut-up ducks many times and so I am very familiar with the quantities and different parts of a half duck.

Normally, we would give HK BBQ Master 4.5 stars, but now we would only give them 1 star. Also, we will not eat here again as we feel that after paying for half a duck we were cheated of the best part of it, namely the breast meat.

Went here on Boxing Day in the evening, feeling clever because the crowds were at the nearby shopping mall, fighting over deals, instead of here, fighting over BBQ pork...

My friend Anthony (who is Chinese, a Yelper, and loves BBQ pork, just like my lowly half-ling self...) has come up with the perfect words to describe Chinese service: Crisp and emotionless.

    Yup. That's this place.

The food is what you come for, though, and it's good. Not the best BBQ pork I've had, but dang good, and the best roasted pork so far, at least until I try Parker Place Meat & B.B.Q.

This place is kinda depressing-looking (and feeling), and not somewhere I would like to sit down for a meal, but it good for take-out. Who wants to sit down and eat lunch in a butcher shop anyway?

Sorry, that was a joke about my workplace.

Come on in, try the pork, a pound doesn't sound like a lot, but it is.

    Your stomach will thank you.

PS: Cash only! It's a good rule of thumb to assume that most Chinese-owned small businesses are. It sucks to ever be caught without paper and coins when you're at one.

Delicious, mouth watering BBQ Duck & Pork served with a sense of humor in a small but mighty restaurant. A plus for me is the added bonus of the restaurant being attached to where I usually get my groceries!

Oh, and the stories are true, their was a line out the door for take-out.

Before coming in, I knew it would be good.  I just didn't know it'd be THAT good.

Parking is ample as the restaurant here shares the same lot as Superstore.

When you first look at this place, it just looks like some beaten up diner-type place.  Then you realize that there's actually a lineup inside.  Then you also realize half their stock is already sold out. Then you notice that the inside is actually very well decorated (though you can't see it from the outside).  What I'm saying is that my original presumptions about the place went out the window within a few seconds of stepping inside.

Seating is super tight, as there are a whopping 14 spots in the entire place.  The entire standing area was packed with people ordering take-out.  The waitress took our order while we were standing.  She told us to simply give her the invoice when we got ourselves a table.  Talk about efficient.

When I told the waitress it was our first time there, she suggested 2 sampler-type dishes such that we'd have a taste of everything.  Today the duck was sold out.  We ordered 2 dishes, one with roast pork and bbq pork; the other with soy and ginger chicken, for a total of 4 dishes.  We also ordered soups.  Today it was melon and pear.

The soup was very tasty.  The pear added just a bit of zing to the otherwise salty stock.  As for the meat?  *clouds part*

BBQ pork - nice and moist, and coated in honey.  Just right.

Roast pork - hot and crispy, with not too much fat just under the skin.

Soy chicken - not too salty, with a bit of a sweet finish.  Also not dry.

Ginger chicken - reminds me of the food I had in Asia (particularly Singapore).

Lastly, the rice was cooked just right as well.  Not too mushy like many other places. Yes, I am actually quite picky about rice.

I think I'll be dreaming about this place for weeks.  This place sets my Chinese BBQ benchmark.

Does HK BBQ Master have the best roast pork (siu yook) and char siu in all of Vancouver? Well, it's pointless to argue as everyone has different preferences and their taste buds will do the judging. There are lots of joints in Chinatown and I would also consider Parker Place meat and BBQ as strong contenders for the best.

This is really a small restaurant located in the covered parking lot of Superstore on No. 3 Road. There are a few tables to sit down which is more then most other BBQ places where you only have the option to just buy and go. This is not a fancy place, so just grab a seat if you decide to eat in. During peak times, two lineups form: one for "to go" and another outside the door for "dine in". The guy chopping up the meats is my hero! I mean how many pieces of char siu, siu york, ducks, and chickens does this guy have to chop up everyday? He seems to take pleasure in the job as he's always chatting with the customers in a very friendly manner. He always ask me if I want a little fat in my meat when he's chopping it up. Indeed, give me a little fat on the meat to enhance the flavour.

This place is all about BBQ meats and nothing else. Well, they have one one token vegetable dish and they garnish each order to go with one broccoli that I usually push aside. So, if you are a vegetarian, close your eyes when you are passing the parking lot in Superstore. Their repertoire of meats include: BBQ Pork, BBQ duck, roast pork, soya sauce chicken, and Hainanese style chicken.

You have a choice of one meat ($5.99-6.99), two meats ($7.50), or three different kinds of meats ($9.50) and they are served on top of some rice with a squirt of soy sauce and one broccoli. They are really efficient and run a tight ship, so you may feel a little rushed. Don't be offended if you are handed the bill while eating, just eat at your own pace. It's just the way things are done at these fast paced joints.

Their char siu (BBQ pork) is one of the better ones I had tasted even compared to the ones in HK. It's very juicy, tender, and flavourful. It has a beautiful charred outer layer covered by a shiny caramelized glaze. It's also got a nice fatty part that is just perfect in texture, not too greasy or soft at all.

They only roast the pork belly here instead of the whole pig like other BBQ places. It provides more consistency in terms of how much fat and lean parts are in each piece. The best part of the roast pork is the crispy skin. Epic stuff!

HK BBQ Master is a sanctuary for BBQ meat lovers. Highly recommended for BBQ meats!

I've only had Chinese BBQ twice but I've had pork a few thousand times...this is good pork. Seriously.

    The crispy skin roasted pork....drool.

If you go here and it's bad, please try it again it must have been a bad pig that day, not the way they prepare it.

Here in the Lower Mainland, if you know anything about barbecue, you know that it doesn't make sense to have places like Memphis Blues or Peckinpah. Hey, I'm all for some pulled pork sandwiches or Carolina-style ribs with some hot sauce and vinegar, but more often than not, when I'm in town I want me some roasted Hong Kong goodness.

That's right, folks: roast duck, crackling crispy-skinned layered pork (siu yuk), BBQ pork (char siu), soy sauce chicken, and yes, even ribs.

This spot is legit. Chef-owner Eric Leung really is the master, not only in the back of house, but also in the front as he circulates around the restaurant. He quickly took over our waitress's job after we started asking some questions she couldn't answer. In fact, when we ordered some pounds of meat to go as well, Chef Eric was suddenly at the butcher block by the entrance, showing off his deft cleavage. Er, I mean cleaverage. (You know, using his knife...)

I think the price point is extremely reasonable for the quality of the product. When you dine in, you can order from a pictured menu. Big, succulent pieces of meat come over rice. If you have a group of friends, have everyone order a single-meat plate and then share; otherwise, you can pay a little more to have two or three kinds of meat.

Located off No. 3 Road & Leslie beneath the Superstore, you might think the location odd. But once you see the throngs of people eagerly awaiting their share of roasted goodness (at 3:00 p.m. on a weekday), you know you're in the right place.

Cash only. Not good for large groups.

Try their roast pork... Definitely THE best I've ever had!!

Although this is a small restaurant underneath the Caanadian Superstore, don't be deceived by the ambiance. I always bring visitors here, and never been disappointed.  I love this place.. ONLY for its roast pork though.

I find their roasted duck a bit too salty. Nevertheless, it's been a staple for me since moving to BC.

Closed on Wednesdays. Don't forget to bring cash. Roast pork is $8.99/lb if memory serves me right. Roast pork on rice is $6.99.

Go early too (they close at 8pm).  They always run out of the good stuff during the last hour.

    Would recommend to anyone! :)

I was referred to HK BBQ Master by a friend of mine, an ex-chef. He constantly raves about it as the place to go for Chinese BBQ.

So I went. And went back. And went back. The best thing there is definately their roast pork, really flavorful, moist, well seasoned and crispy skin.

The duck is hit or miss. The BBQ pork is good too.

The service isn't the best, nor is the range of their offerings (their soup and side plate of greens can be a lot better).

Definitely come here to try to the roasted pork!

HK BBQ Master should not be called "HK BBQ Master". The bbq was awful. The roasted pork was SUPER salty, the roasted duck was bland and the skin was not crispy, and the chicken was bland as well (although tender). The customer service was awful. We ordered a whole bunch of items and they only gave us one pair of togo chopsticks. On top of that, when we asked for the roasted pork, they wanted to give us the end piece of the roasted pork. I have had way better bbq in San Francisco at Cheung Hing on Noriega Street. HK BBQ Master isn't even comparable!!

Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't allow 0 stars so that's why I'm giving 1 star. If it were up to me, I would give them 0 stars.

This place is tucked in by the parking garage of the Super Store in Richmond but it's worth making the trek out. We took some friends who are huge Chinese food fans and even they were impressed.

There was a line to the door when we got there. This place only has seating for maybe 16 people, but it's high volume. We only waited ten minutes and the staff were attentive and even took our order in advance so that it would be ready as soon as we sat down. Did I feel rushed? No, this was efficiency!

I ended up trying both the crispy pork and the BBQ pork. Even with lean cuts, I still find the crispy pork kind of fatty. The BBQ pork, however, was outstanding! The portions are on the large side. I didn't finish all my rice and the manager came over to tell me that next time I should just ask for more meat instead of rice! He even took the time to talk to us about the best time to come and what we should order ahead (BBQ duck apparently goes very quickly).

If you're a serious foodie, you should look this place up. Cash only.

Absolutely the best Chinese BBQ in the lower mainland.  We make it a point to order some takeout each time we buy groceries at Superstore (same plaza).  This place has never failed to be excellent, as evident by the consistent lineup inside.
Ordering is a breeze with nice large pictures and tax-in pricing.

BBQ pork (char sui) is great, good mix of sweet and salty.  I recommend ordering the half-fat parts, will give good thin veins of delicious, juicy fat throughout the meat.

Really busy during lunch and dinner. Also tends to sell out close to the end of day.  No worries though,  no matter what they have left, rest assured it will be delicious!

I love this place. It's cheap and straight to the point. The service is quite good too, but I'm not the type of person who loves attention. There isn't much to say bout it. It is what it is-- really good food.

There's one thing that totally perplexes me though. Why the hell do they have so many eggs in their refrigerator? There aren't even any dishes with eggs in them. Do they come from the chickens?! Someone TELL ME!

I stumbled on to this place on my way to superstore, and my first impression.."freakin busy" a huge line-up with only a few seats in the house. Then i thought to myself:
"hmm.. looking at the dead hanging marinated duck, pork and chicken in the window is making my fat tummy sing"
So i go in there and brave the crowd. mmmm the wafting smell of chinese bbq and sounds of chopping made me salivate even more..  I got to the counter and ordered 1pound bbq duck and 1pound pork. (and no it was not all for me if you were wondering!! -__-)

The taste was amazing! it was like the duck and pork were having sex in my mouth! ( are you picturing it????...sorry about that.. )

A friend of a friend from Vancouver swore by this place and recommended it as the first food we should try when visiting the area. We opted for the honeyed char siu rather than the crispy because we already had our fair share of fat that day. The meat was rather dry; maybe it was roasted much earlier during the day. Still, it's a reliable choice for char siu.

I really wanted to love this place, but I thought it was just ok.
Maybe because they had such high ratings on Yelp that I thought it would be amazing!  But it was not so.

The crispy roast pork was good, but not great.  I mean I can randomly walk into a bbq place in Hong Kong and it would probably be around the same and one place in NorthPoint HK def. hands down, so when I'm comparing it to that standard, I found it lacking in HK BBQ.

Then the bbq park was cut into THICK slices. I thought they are suppose to be thinner slices so you can easily eat it with rice.

The duck was delicious.  No complaints there. Hard to mess up duck.
I must say the soy sauce they put over the rice is delicious!

Based on the previous great reviews and the recent recommendation from a local newspaper, I tried this place out.  Sadly, either its overhyped or the quality has deteriorated since its enormous popularity on this site.

Richmond has a lot of fantastic Chinese BBQ.  So does Chinatown up in Pender/Main.  To truly be the best Chinese BBQ, the standard is very high.  HK BBQ Master is too expensive and the food just doesn't taste that good.  Its become like a fast food joint, with minimal standards in terms of taste and flavor.

I ordered the triple combo so that I could taste their bbq pork, roast pork, and roast duck.  The roast duck was boring, not that flavorful, not that tender.  If you've had amazing roast duck, then you know what to expect.  The roast duck here was average, and less than mediocre.

I asked for the fatty pork, expecting to get perfectly rendered fat, falling off the meat, delicious, smoked, and astounding.  Nope... instead I got really fatty pork, not seasoned enough, not roasted long enough, probably not basted properly.  This was what confused me the most, because the roast pork here was reputed to be utterly fantastic, and I didn't get that.  I couldn't figure out at all what was delicious about this pork.

The service was fine.  Fast and efficient.  They can almost read your mind.  Unfortunately they have come to expect good tips in Richmond.  Sigh.  You guys know that traditionally, Chinese don't tip?  Its a very western thing, and I'm kind of upset that I'm forced to tip on top of HST even when the food and service is not exceptional.  I will tip generously when I enjoy the food and service.  But when its bad, I really find it insulting to have to tip more than 10%, especially on a budget fast food meal like at HK BBQ Master.

This place is better than a lot of HK BBQ I used to have while we are in HK.  (We born and raised in HK).  Seems like the Chickens (white one and the soy sauce one) are the best among other BBQs but don't get this wrong, the others such as DUCK, PORK, CRISPY PORK are very very good too.

Only thing I don't like is the portion of rice is not large enough (or not large enough for me) plus you need to pay for the additional "Ginger/G. Onion" dipping sauce if you wanted more.   Otherwise, I will give a 5*s.

Anyhow, if you know and want to eat HK style BBQ.  This place is a MUST GO.

Anything they got hanging on the window, they got it down to a perfect T!

Sure, the roast duck is awesome and quite possibly the best in GVRD, but the the roast pork definitely steals the show here. The crackling sound from the crispy skin is enough to make me want to bow down Chef Leung - the HK BBQ Master. Oh so so greasy fatty-licious.

And if that is not enough, the Honey BBQ Charsiu is amazing. Right amount of sweetness and perfect for the fluffy steamed rice served. Nope, it doesn't end here, try the soy chicken and free range one dipped in their super tasty ginger and green onion mix, beats any drunken chicken or hainanese one I've had in the city. Will this ever end? The tea, oh the tea! So fragrant and flavourful, I've asked what kind it was, my guess is crysanthemum, but unfortunately with our language barrier with the staff (though very nice and charming as they are) could only tell me the Chinese name.

One must know the take-out line could get crazy long, and if you want you're roast pork, duck, or chicken, you're just going to have to wait. Either that or sit down the table, order in and hoard enough of what you think you could muster eating for the whole week, and request for boxes and pack it yourself. You skip the long wait, have a teaser, and still get to bring home a lot. A bit more expensive this way, but your tummy will be happy until the few hours that your take out box will last.

The best BBQ pork!  OMG.  Seriously juicy and caramelized on the outside.  I couldn't stop eating it.

The place is small and super busy, so be ready to stand in line ... but it's SO worth it.

The crispy rind on the roast pork and the perfectly charred / caramelized juicy BBQ pork with well balanced portions of fat and meat are well worth EVERY star of my 5-star rating.

We went there on a Sunday afternoon for lunch.  It is a very small restaurant with just a handful of tables.  When we got there, all the tables were taken so we decided to wait in line for takeout orders and picnic in our car in the parking lot.  I had an order of roast pork in rice, my partner ordered half a pound of BBQ pork, and we shared an order of bok choy.  I was so silly that I had to worry about how to keep the left over in the car under the sun.  We wolfed every last bit down in less than half an hour.

The restaurant is located in the Superstore parkade on No.3 Road so it is a perfect stop for a quick lunch, dinner or snack before grocery shopping so you won't end up loading up your shopping carts with junk food while shopping on an empty stomach!

This place delivers serious chinese BBQ at a great price point. As other reviewers have mentioned, the star of the show is the BBQ pork. The staff are friendly and extremely efficient, and despite the busy atmosphere, the dining experience isn't bad. The location and decor are somewhat uninspiring, but this place doesn't seem to aspire to gourmet dining. It's damn good no frills chinese BBQ at its best.

Ive been to this place before! Their chicken I believe is really good, and their roasted meet. But I would only suggest people to take out their orders, because it's always packed there with a small area, and parking there with all the people going to Super Store is just nutzzzzzz!!

But just about the restaurant itself is awesome!! I would recommend the Crispy roasted pork the most there and then their chicken!!

If you like BBQ pork on rice, this is the place to be, that's why he is the "BBQ Master".

I tried all their combo rice dishes, I still think the half lean, half fat BBQ pork on rice is the best, make sure to ask for extra BBQ soy sauce and ginger and green onion mix.

To really make it perfect, order a bowl of their home made Chinese soup to go with your rice, you will not regret it.

Went for a return trip and finally sampled their roast duck - combo'ed with their well-established roast pork.  The roast pork is most definitely the star attraction, but the master makes a mean BBQ duck as well - very juicy.  Bring this to a full 5-stars from me as it's not a one-trick pony.

Took a friend here for their 1st time and he was also floored by the good and fast service.  He thinks the tea is lychee-flavoured, and we got constant refills of it.  My first time here wasn't a fluke.

The sign outside proudly proclaims, "We have no branch [sic]" - I guess the master chef won't go for a "HK BBQ Apprentice" sub-branch.

Johnson C raved about this place and I've been skeptical since there's a good selection of bbq in Chinatown (closer to me).  But after an Ikea trip, I was determined to check it out ...and everything he said was true!!

The BBQ pork skin was delicious and the char siew was so juicy and good.  The free range chicken was so tender and yummmy.  I'm such a fan of HK BBQ done right...and this is worth the trek down!

The takeout lineup was long but the service was so quick and efficient.  I was told that they ran out of meat early - I was there around 5:30pm and it looked like they had enough for another hour of service.  I'd come back next time in a heart beat!

I just ate here yesterday. For lunch. There and back to my desk downtown in 1.25 hours on da Canada Line. Something strange happened during my dining experience like I was possessed, I had finished eating every bite and walked up to the cashier to pay and at that precise moment, I almost ordered another portion to sit down and eat all over again but alas, I do not have the appetite of a sasquatch and eating another portion of roast duck + roast pork on rice would simply be an impossible feat.

The roast pork beats Parker Place hands down, I used to think it was better but I retract my comment, today I was floored by the crispiness of the skin, it was almost flaky for pork skin, OMG, it was soooo delicious. Service was adequate and tables do fill up. They also have noodles you can order with all them roast meats. And the home made ice tea is wicked! If I move to Richmond, I would live near this joint. It's hard to find this place but once you see Real Cdn Superstore they are right under it. Trust me, worth the trek ya'll! One inconvenient issue is cashola only.

I don't think I really need to write a review for this place, because it already has a 4.5 stars. However, as a sign of my love and loyalty to this place, I'm gonna do it anyways.

They have a heavenly roast pork with crispy skin and less fatty layers; and they have an amazing bbq spare ribs. The place is small, but it's always packed with people lining up to get some meet goodness to go (maybe bring some home, invite some guests and tell their guests that they made the BBQ meats? That doesn't sound like a very bad idea).

Good service, very fast as expected from a busy small place. They have two menus: the eat-in and the to-go menu. They sell the meat by plate for dine-in, and by pounds for take-out.
I only wish that they have a more spicy chili oil available.

Having brought about 8 pounds of BBQ duck and roast pork to another continent more than once from this place ( and yes, they do have BBQ duck and pork there), I can safely assumed that this place offers some of the best BBQ duck, Pai kut (ribs) and Ca Siu (honey pork?). Even my grandmother praised the taste of the food here, proclaiming that they are better than the ones in Hong Kong...
Located just below Richmond superstore, the place itself is pretty unmemorable to say the least, but the succulence of the BBQ duck and the melt in your mouth flavours of the porks here will more than make up for it.
Be warned that they close every Wednesday.

Awesome and authentic. I took the family (wife & 6-year old son) for dine in the first time. We sampled roast pork, char siu, roast duck, soya chicken, soup and veggies (again with the veggies!) Everything arrived promptly and the BBQ is super fresh.

There might be 20 or so seats - it isn't very big - but the service is prompt and helpful. There was a line up out the door which seems typical at dinner time.

We've been back since for take out - the chicken dishes are available free range or not (Pu Tong). Definitely go for the free range - it was juicier and more flavourful. We've tried pretty much everything except the steamed chicken - that's next on the list.

Excellent BBQ!! Rated moderate price only because we ate a lot...

Great BBQ place in Richmond. It can be a little hard to find as it is located below the Real Canadian Superstore near No. 3 Road. Entrance to the restaurant is in the parking lot. HK BBQ Master sells all your favorite Chinese BBQ dishes including roast pork, char siu, soy sauce chicken and roast duck.

I decided to dine-in and order one of their plates, it consisted of a dish of roast pork and char siu. It was very flavorful and some of the best that I have of these dishes for a while. Particularly like the skin of the roast pork. I tried the BBQ duck and soy sauce chicken (I believe this is free-range) and they are pretty good as well. Meat dishes were lacking vegetables however, aside from one slice of broccoli. You can order a side of vegetables for $4.00 however.

Overall, I would recommend HK BBQ Master as a solid place for Chinese BBQ. Oh and one other thing, this is a cash-only establishment FYI.

Needed a quick snack which didn't have a lot of carbs. Tried the char siu.  The outide of the pork was decently flavored. It was a little more salty than sweet. Surprisingly, even though I usually remove the fat, the part which was a bit charred was really good to my taste buds (not necessarily for my heart though).  If you like the additional sauce, it looks like soy sauce, but you could taste the anise, and it was on the salty side. The downside of the char siu is that it was a bit on the drier side.
