This store rocks! HITZ was previously located on Robson, and has moved to Cordova, so don't be confused by the Hits store which is in the old location! IT'S NOT THE SAME STORE=DIFFERENT OWNERS + NOT AS COOL!! HITZ is run by two local peeps who are super friendly and work hard every day of the week (and weekend).
In HITZ there is a big Tiki bar at the back of the store, which is decorated with cool accessories and stuff that you could get from the Funhauser store that used to be in Chinatown. HITZ sells skate/surf/rockabilly clothes for men and women and carries a lot of name brands. They also have a giant wall of Chuck T shoes (Converse for you non-slang users) and I got some wicked Zombie heels there by Iron Fist. I have also bought some cute pinup dresses and skirts from this store and they have all been super reasonably priced. So get out there and support your local businesses!

Hitz is a terrific little spot for everything surf/skate/litepunk. They've got one of the best selections on Converse and Vans in town, and if you're looking for some amazing pumps to take an evening outfit to the next level - trust me, you have to see them to believe! They carry a wide variety of clothing brands like Arson, Orb, Roxy, Billabong, Vans, Very, Independent and more. Lots of great outerwear that you don't see at bigger shops as well. I always seemed to find the size I was looking for, even in the sale racks. None of these lines are budget but Hitz don't mark up astronomically making the clothes relatively affordable. Can't recommend enough, every time I'm in town I always stop in.

If you're looking for cool, hip fashions that aren't run-of-the-mill or overpriced then you should check out Hitz Boutique. They used to be on Robson St. and I bought my first pair of Vans (black patent no less) there. Now they're in Gastown so finding parking is easier. Although they specialize in Surf/Skate/Snow clothes they have a great selection of pretty and comfortable skirts and dresses. Their selection of shoes also includes some stunning retro heels. You can find baby clothes, men's clothes and great accessories too. They often have wicked sales and usually there's a sales rack at the back as well. This independently owned and operated store is worth checking out for yourself and gift-giving.

Awesome selection of skate, surf and the occasional rockabilly clothes. Independently owned and operated - Hitz moved from their original location on Robson to it's current incarnation on Cordova. The owners run the show and do a good job of it. The place looks great on the inside and the prices are very reasonable!
