History

Established in 2010

Sandy Ibrahim founded Hit to Fit™ over a year ago at her Capital City Boxing Club location on Alpha Street.  Based on high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and the best that boxing training has to offer,  Hit to Fit™ is a machine-free functional fitness program that improves performance and weight loss with short training sessions.  On Tuesday, April 19, 2011 Capital City Boxing, Inc received the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce New Business Award, due in large part to the success of the Hit to Fit™ program.

Meet the Business Owner: Sandy I.

Sandy is the founder of Capital City Boxing and the brains behind Hit to Fit - Functional Fitness in 30 minutes.  She is a certified fitness leader, certified personal trainer and a Level 2 NCCP boxing coach who trained both as a boxer and as a coach by Cappy Kotz of Seattle.  She grew up as a competitive swimmer and trained with the Olympian Swim Club.  Sandy specializes in HIIT programming, linking boxing to everyday life, general athletic conditioning and giving a fun and wicked workout.  She approaches training with a sense of humour.  Sandy has supported hundreds of boxers and cross-training athletes in reaching their goals.  As a mother and a busy professional, she knows both how hard and how important it is to stay fit while juggling the many demands of life.  Her desire to make fitness fun, effective and accessible inspired her to create Hit to Fit.
