This is a pretty great hotel.  Clean, new, near the airport, and quiet.  I have stayed here a few times and always found my stay to be convenient and pleasant.

This place is definitely geared toward business travellers, and they offer plenty of meeting space for that purpose. I didn't stay overnight but I was impressed by the quality of service and food throughout our afternoon of meetings. the variety of food offered seems pretty standard, but firendly staff make sure the hot water is in steady supply and they are quick to clean up (without being intrusive).

Meeting rooms are very comfortable and the lobby and bathrooms are spotless.

We actually stayed two doors down at the Hampton Inn & Suites and were desperate for an easy, casual dinner for us and the kids. The choices were few and we didn't want to get stuck in the traffic on the highway. We walked over to the restaurant here and were pleasantly surprised. A roasted veggie sandwich (called a panini) was light and sprinkled with a few pieces of goat cheese. The spinach salad was light. The kids' meals of macaroni and cheese (Kraft!) and burger suited the purpose followed by a big cookie.

Clean, Very close to the airport. I really liked their beds and chairs. Rooms are decent and well kept. Will be staying here more often.

Though my meetings were downtown, this hotel is by the airport.  Hilton's website said it was 4.87 miles from where I needed to be.  WRONG!  14 miles away.  Gardiner Expressway gets VERY busy during peak times.  This hotel is geographically challenged if you need to work in downtown Toronto.

I have no complaints about the clean, quiet room, but I resent the fact that I got charged 10 bucks a night for parking.  There was no value-add for that fee.

Since I am a Hilton Diamond, I get free breakfast.  Blech!  The chef was not at his station and when he finally noticed me, he started my eggs and then ducked half-way around the corner so he could chit-chat with a co-worker. He has very poor customer service instincts and training.

The scrambled eggs were OK, but the sausage link was dry and inedible. The bacon was pink, limp and I didn't even put a piece in my mouth.  The so-called buffet had a single hot pot with oily hash browns and some vegetable concoction.  I passed on both.  After 4 bites of egg, I got up and left.  Free breakfast has to suck pretty bad to walk away from, but this was that bad.  McDonald's serves better food with a better attitude.

The room service menu was much broader than most HGI's where I stay.  I had a nice piece of Fish & Chips, though the "chips" were not "chips", they were french fries.

The french onion soup was saved from complete mediocrity by a splash of sherry.  Onion Soup Gratinee should have a toasted crouton on top to hold the cheese, so the bread doesn't get soggy.  Alas, they do not have a French chef...

The steak was flavorful, though overcooked.  Thank god I asked for medium-rare, or I would have been served a charcoal lump.

I also had the Indian butter chicken with basmati rice and a side of Samosas. The butter chicken sauce had nice flavor but zero chile attitude.  A bland-eating mid-westerner would probably enjoy this dish.

The samosas _shocked_ me.  They were not the usual hand-made variety. These were obviously thawed from the freezer and come in a _box_.   The six tiny, 1 inch triangles could have been strip-mined from the Alberta Oil Sands.  The texture of the dough was all wrong.  The savory filling tasted spot-on, but there was so little of it, the balance of dough to filling was way off in favor of the dough.

I will not stay here again if I can help it.  If you want to improve your score, fire your food and beverage manager and hire a cooking staff that has a clue.

My next trip to Toronto will include a hotel downtown where good food is abundant.

Love this property. Clean and quite. Ok, so it's not downtown... but it's great for business near the Airport.

This review has been written from the perspective of a business
traveler who attended a conference that was hosted by this hotel
and resided at the hotel during my conference stay.
The hotel is located within line of sight of the Toronto airport. That
means that it is approximately a 5 to 6 minute shuttle ride from the
baggage claim area to the front door of the hotel.  This hotel offers
a free shuttle service to and from the airport. The surrounding area
adjacent to the hotel is somewhat of a light industrial area that
is sprinkled with other commonly known hotels. There is a good
selection of restaurants nearby, however if you are without a car, you
will have to hike it for about 15 minutes or so. The restaurant that
is located inside of the hotel is very attractive which features
good menu selection. However, I found it to be a bit pricey.  "Pricy" is
a matter of perspective. An example of pricy to me is $12.95 for a
breakfast bar and $20.00 for soup and salad. Never the less your
options are limited if you do not have a car or you are unwilling
to walk. The hotel in general is attractive and well maintained. The
lobby and other public areas are well appointed and tastefully
decorated. Our conference requirements consisted of the need for one
common gathering area and one smaller localized room for smaller
groups.  I arrived prior to the conference. This allowed me to review
the requested setup arrangements with key persons.  I found the staff
to be very competent and informed concerning our conference needs.
This was true in spite of the fact that I arrived on a Sunday, when
there is typically a smaller staff available. They seemed to have a
dedicated staff that was responsible for conference room setup that
was not on the job until later Sunday evening. This simply meant that
if you wished to view the setup of your venue, the earliest that could
occur is Sunday night providing that your conference started on
Monday. A bit of an inconvenience, but not a big deal.  The
accommodations were as we requested with the exception of our
need for rectangular tables were substituted for round tables.
When I requested an explanation of the matter, I was told that the
rectangular tables were needed for another event, and they needed to
substitute the round tables. For someone else this might be a major issue.  However, I felt that we could live with it. I decided to make due and go along with the plan. As a matter of interest, I was told by a participant after the
conference that it would have been better to have square tables. (Who
would have thought it?).  During the conference we experienced times
when the air-conditioning simply did not keep the room cooled down.  I will say that when we inquired concerning the problem, a technician was there almost immediately to solve the problem.  This problem did occur several times during the conference. In all cases, the problem was rectified immediately, (Even though it did recur). The first improvement that I suggest is that house telephones be made available for the conference areas.  When there is a problem such as our air conditioning issue, it was a bit inconvenient to have to walk to the front desk to report the problem.

The catering for our event was excellent.  There was service provided to us three times per day.  After learning of certain persons in our class who had special dietary needs, the staff paid special attention to the meeting their needs.

Other very positive aspects of our stay were:
    1) The hotel provided persons to help us package up our unused materials, and prepare it for shipment.
    2) The hotel provided IT personnel for assistance when needed.

Concerning their WIFI access:  We found the signal strength to be strong throughout the building.

The overnight room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked.  The fitness center, pool and sauna were clean, well lighted and up to date with modern equipment, including flat screen monitor/TVs.

Overall, this was a venue that I would return to.  If not for the remote location from other restaurants, etc., I might consider a 4 star "Yelp" rating.
