Good food at great prices. This place is nothing fancy. It is what it is. A really nice family offering good comfort food. Don't let the fact that its a chinese/fish n chips restaurant (I thought it was weird at first too). Both the aforementioned specialties are rave worthy and worth going back again and again. My boyfriend and I love the food.

Friendly and a bit of everything.
Hillside certainly doesn't want to turn anyone away with a menu of over 100 items ranging from burgers to fish and chips as well as a full Chinese takeout menu.
Food overall is pretty good although very typical and nothing really interesting or really memorable. Also I have found they use a bit too much oil in their stirfry and the fish was a little greasy
Inside clean and the staff/owners very friendly. There is a little confusion at times due to the wide variety on the menu from Chinese to Fish and chips. I will never forget the day I put malt vinegar on my stir fry as I thought it was light soy sauce sitting on the table..not recommended btw...
Overall pretty good but could be better, I just think they need to streamline their menu, get some lower cal/fresh tasting options and stop tying to be everything to everybody.
