Hero Optical carries a large selection of fashionable eyeglasses and sunglasses. We also specialize in custom shapes and hand made lenses. Hero Optical is home to Airdrie's only on site full service lens crafting lab where we personally craft each pair of glasses we sell to the highest standard of quality. We take pride in selling many hard to find niche frames for motorcycle riders, sportsmen, swimmers, divers and many more. If you want it we can find it.

Established in 2006
Michael Wing, owner operator of Hero Optical, is a second generation lens crafting specialist. growing up making glasses has allowed Hero Optical to provide expert service and quality to every customer. We have always specialized in finding the perfect pair of glasses and lenses for each customers individual want's and needs, and we are willing to take the time that is necessary with you in order to provide that.
Meet the Business Owner: Michael W.
Michael is a licensed Optician in the province of Alberta and has over 10 years experience crafting, and fitting eyeglasses. He specializes in custom shapes and hand carved lenses, and is one of the only craftsmen in Alberta to do hand carving painting and jewel mounting on lenses.
