Review from Laura D.
I bought one of my first DSLR's at Henry's in Toronto proper some 8 years ago or so, an entire kit with the Canon EOS 30D along with both a fish-eye lens and a telephoto lens, plus plenty of other equipment. Unfortunately, it wasn't even a year before I was robbed when I went to shoot photos on Mount Royal and didn't have the heart to replace everything with such an expensive outlay.
So, now, I am reluctant to spend oodles of money on a camera. I'm not a pro and my pictures kinda suck anyhow, so I decided to go cheap. I bought a used Canon EOS, from even before the 30D time, along with a simple telephoto lens. I'll tell you what. It's perfect! The service they offer is pretty decent and I got my products very quick;y (within a week). I paid less than 200$ for both items, shipping included!
I already trusted Henry's because of my previous experiences with them, but I was wondering if the service for considerably cheaper goods would measure up. I'm here to tell you, it did. -
Review from Maha K.
Got a like-new Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Autofocus Lens for $299. Seriously. He knocked off $50 because my budget was $300. This store is full of goodies for amazing prices.
I have no idea where the hell I was (mostly because I don't live here), but I have a feeling this is near the middle of BFE. One of the reps at the other Henry's on Eglinton was sweet enough to actually draw my dumbass a map to this store.
Either way, it's definitely worth trekking out there if you're in the mood to get new camera toys but don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I've never seen a used camera shop like this in Denver. It's amazing.
(This entire strip on Dundas E seems to be full of outlets and the like.)
