I went to Healing Ki because of the high Yelp Reviews. So I figured, okay, let's give this a shot. Let's see if it's all that it is cut out to be.
Well, here's my feedback:
Tiglat is awesome. He really really cared about my well being and is so passionate about his work.
He also has custom things like hot stones and bamboo which brings an entirely new experience. I also loved the heated table, and the plush memory foam table. I felt comfortable, secure, and felt good.
For the last 6 months, I was holding on to a lot in my hip, which was affecting my lower back. And in just a few minutes toward the end of the massage, he really helped open that up. I booked another session with him at the end of the massage because I really think we are going to make some progress on some of the chronic pain I've been having.

Tiglat is easily the most intuitive and talented massage therapist I have ever encountered. His techniques have been refined by his years of study around the world and his dedication to providing a healing and enriching experience for every single client.
The atmosphere is comfortable and soothing and Tiglat doesn't chat your ear off. He finds out what you need, discusses what he will do and then he gets to work. I went in with a bad lower back spasm and sciatica problem and left with the ability to stand upright again! After weeks of the pain, I felt like he performed a miracle.
I definitely recommend Healing Ki and Tiglat's talented techniques. You simply can't go wrong.

I've gone to Healing Ki a few times now for the Signature massage, and every time am amazed out how great I feel walking out and in the days after. Whether it is back pain or just needing to relax, Tiglat really listens to what I say and accomplishes the goal each time. His little beach spa suite is soothing, quiet, and calm, and I am able to "zone out" each time - I have never been able to be so relaxed. Fantastic!

I have had a couple of massages with Tiglat and they have both been wonderfully therapeutic. The massage room has a very peaceful and calming energy about it. My body really responds well to the hot stone treatment. Tiglat is a good listener and focuses on problem areas with amazing results. I can't wait for my next massage!

Whenever I think of a big splurge, I think massage. Using the Yelp feature, I found Healing Ki along with tons of happy client posts. Luckily I was able to book an appointment as it was my last day in town. I was very impressed with Tiglat's warm personality and tour of his massage studio including hot stone therapy. Great massage in a soothing room overlooking the ocean. After the treatment, received directions to get to the beach to enjoy the ocean view and savor my relaxed state of mind. Thanks Tiglat for making my stay in Encinitas the best! I will definitely be booking again in the future!! :-)

I am a big fan of taking time for myself every weekend and I always have heard great things about hot stone massage. I decided to give it a try this weekend and oh my goodness what a treat! He made me feel extremely comfortable and made my whole body feel better!! I am a hairstylist so I'm on my feet all day. He took time o explain everything to me. I also felt like he really took time to do the best job at making me feel better. I walked into the room which was warm and inviting. You can see the beach from the room. He also has custom made bamboo and stones that he works worth. I felt so incredibly relaxed and will be going back each month for a massage! Life is short. Take time for yourself and go and see him!!! :)

Did an AMAZING job and really knows what he is doing!! My back has never felt better! He not only uses hand crafted hot stones that fit his hands, but he also hand crafted rolling pin type things to use with hot oils! Really did a great job and cannot wait to go back!!

I am visiting from CO for 2 months. Typically have a massage a week so was in great need for good body work. After reading reviews for Tiglat, I called. His was the best massage of my life! I kid you not! Therapeutic as well as relaxing. Tiglat made me feel very comfortable right away and was so clearly proud of his setting and techniques. He's delightful and has the most amazing sense of what my body needed. I whole-heartedly recommend him.

I went to Tiglat because a good friend gave me a gift certificate for his Signature Massage at Healing Ki.
Walking into the place, I felt immediately soothed and thought, "Wow, this place is top end without being pretentious." Healing Ki is clean, understated, beautiful, and has a vibe that set my usually anxious demeanour at ease.
I was greeted warmly by Tiglat, who had me fill out some paperwork (which I appreciated, because it's important for any health practitioner to know what's going on with my body and my mind). He spoke to me about which areas of my body I wanted to focus on, and what I felt I needed in terms of all-over healing.
Then he explained what tools he'd be using during our massage--warmed bamboo sticks to open and soothe my muscles, hot stones, etc. He had me pick my preference of essential oils, and we got started.
Tiglat has a magical touch for massage, and a genuine quality in his approach to massage. He was pleasant to talk to, but did not get overly chattty, as I highly value quiet time while getting bodywork done.
I definitely recommend Tiglat and plan to go back to him. -

Tiglat is a knowledgeable, gifted therapist who studied the healing arts in Japan for a few years ---it really shows . He asks questions about your specific physical concerns and cares about the outcome.
Tiglat's 90 minute signature massage combining several healing modalities has been the best I've ever had - I've had years of experiencing different massages . You pay for good quality and he is the very BEST-- word travels fast - run to see Tiglat!!!
Another relaxing treat is that his location is a short block or two walking distance onto Moonlight Beach. Ahhhh! -

As I am known to be a massage therapist "snob", my highest regards go to Tiglat. His amazing and successful techniques in massage therapy leave many in the dust. He is knowledgeable, accommodating, personable, conscientious, sympathetic, and has great follow-up.
He is worth at least a try. You will not be disappointed.

Tiglat is amazing... I initially found him via SpaFinder as I had received one of their gift certifcates for Christmas. I decided to try Healing Ki because it was the only one in San Diego county that received a solid FIVE STARS from EVERYONE!
It was such a fantastic massage that I am now a regular customer. I highly recommend the 90 minute Signature Massage. It truly is a customized therapeutic experience. -

Enjoyed meeting Tiglat who is very friendly and knowledgable about massage. His office is modest...not a large spa and his massage room is comfortable and soothing with lovely music playing in the background. You fill in a short patient profile and he customizes the massage to your needs. He uses warm bamboo sticks and stones during the massage and you choose the type of oil you want him to use. He worked longer on certain areas that needed more attention and I walked out feeling pampered and relaxed. I definitely recommend Healing Ki Massage Therapy.

Tiglat at Healing Ki Massage Therapy is one of the best massage therapists in Encinitas. He made me feel comfortable right from the start and used a combination of deep tissue, warm bamboo, and hot stone work. He provides sports massage and prenatal massage techniques as well. It was a very relaxing and therapeutic experience. I would recommend a massage here for anyone.

Tiglat was recommended by my chiropractor so I had high expectations and I was not disappointed.
Not only Tiglat is an excellent massage therapist with a great understanding of the human body and mind but is also a very warm and welcoming person. He put me at ease right away and made me feel very comfortable.
The massage was wonderful, effective and relaxing. I could certainly have stayed another 90 minutes and I will be going back. -

I found Healing Ki though a gift certificate I had through http://Spafinder.com. Every other massage place in Solana Beach/Encinitas has 1-2 reviews per entry and Healing Ki had about 45 five-star reviews, so I figured that this place was definitely worth a try.
As someone with chronic low back pain, I've had many massages in my day but this one was by far the best. As many people have mentioned already, Tiglat takes the time to understand your body and your pain before beginning to work on you. He has many customized tools and methods that I have never experienced before. I would recommend Healing Ki to anyone and I look forward to going back many, many times in the future. -

Best. Massage. Ever. I found this place on Yelp... needed a massage because of some back pain. Tiglat was professional, seems to be highly trained and very experienced, and is also just a nice guy. I felt very comfortable with him right away. He offered me some differernt techniques (hot rocks, bamboo sticks!) and some suggestions and then he listened to my requests and tailored the massage to eactly what I wanted. His little suite is peaceful and the massage room was nicely decorated with the most comfortable massage table I've ever been on. I also think his prices are very reasonable. My back pain is so much better and I left feeling fabulous. Don't hesitate to try him..... you won't be disappointed!!

I scheduled a massage with Tiglat after my chiropractor gave me his name. After living in North County for about a year, it was the first massage I thought was really good. The environment is the right blend of calm, clean and relaxing, and Tiglat's work with bamboo and hot stones is thoughtful and therapeutic instead of superficial or careless. He is so clearly deeply interested in massage techniques and helping people. I felt calm and energized after my massage. I will absolutely go back and would definitely recommend a massage at Healing Ki to anyone!

Tigalat is wonderful, professional, kind and compassionate. He uses stone, bamboo rollers, essential oils and good music. You will feel healed and feel like you released alot of junk, pain, and garbage. how can you beat that. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend. Will come back again no question.

I was referred to Tiglat at Healing Ki by a friend. The service is amazing and the best thing you can do is upgrade your 60 minute to a full 90 minute. I love the hot stone treatment. The studio is relaxing and inviting and after your session, its only a short walk to the beach to check out the waves. If you are in Encinitas, this is the place to get massage therapy.

Tiglat is a very knowledgable, warm, and skilled massage therapist. I had never had a massage with the hot stones before and found them unbelievably relaxing and soothing on all of my sore, tight muscles. Tiglat shared some great recommendations for loosening some of the tight spots on my neck, and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for an expert massage therapist in a great setting.
