Simply peering in the window will do your closet a great disservice.
Go inside and meet Niomi and her fabulous staff. A new addition to the Victoria shopping scene, they've filled the spot between Pig and the entrance to the Atrium. With floor to ceiling windows and a beautiful interior, you'll wish your closet had this lighting, not to mention to the space. While it looks amazing with the shoes set up more like art than those boring old shoe racks you're used to, Head Over Heels has a range of prices and offers. From affordable, sustainable, fabulous TOMS, to handmade Spanish and German brands you've never heard of, and some staples from Birkenstock that you'll never grow tired of.
They have a ton of great local and Canadian-made jewelry, and hand bags and are excited to be open, so the service is really great. They are looking to start supporting some local women's groups with shoe donations too, so you'll really be embracing a new business in the Victoria shopping community that's out to do some good.
So nice to see a TOMS (I'm a superfan) selection beyond the classics. They have some awesome wedges that will soon be mine. The handmade Spanish numbers have my name on them too.

From peering through the window, to actually stepping foot in the store, Head Over Heels is top notch! Owner Niomi Spent well over a month trying to replace a purchase I had made that came with a manufacturer's defect. Her telephone updates were timely and final delivery was courteous and genuine! Fine Italian boots never felt so wonderful, but surely are Devine with service like this.

I have one word for Head Over Heels...AWESOME. The selection of shoes and boots are gorgeous and reflect each season perfectly. The staff are off the rails with their knowledge, fashion sense and friendliness. With an ever growing shoe collection to rival Imelda Marcos, I plan on expanding mine some more with the help of this wonderful shoe store. It's definitely the "fix" for any shoe "junkie"!
Specialties
Head over Heels carries an extensive collection of footwear from all over the world and include Art, J Shoes, Wonders, Mjus, Miss L Fire, Matiko, Joe Sanchez, Bensimon, Pataugas, Birkenstock, Birki's, Papillio, Born, Miz Mooz, Jump and, of course, Toms. New lines for the Fall include Aigle, Hispanitas, Loints of Holland, Romika, Ash and Audley.
While the shoes at Head over Heels are primarily from Europe, the jewelry, bags and other accessories are more local. Accessory lines (many are exclusive to Head over Heels) include Rimanchik (bags and belts from Montreal), Orla Kiely (handbags from the UK), Dotted Loop (one of kind jewelry from Vancouver), Yu by Shi Studio (jewelry from Victoria), Kairos (handbags from Vancouver) and Marnie Burton (jewelry from Saltspring Island).
History
Established in 2010
The owner, Niomi Wood, decided to open a shoe store in the summer of 2010. We found some great space at the Atrium. We bought our first batch of shoes. We found some great suppliers for a range of accessories. We designed and built the store. We opened our doors in March 2011. Sales have exceeded our expectations. The Toms phenomenon has surprised and delighted us. The quality of our customers has exceeded our expectations.
Meet the Business Owner: Niomi W.
Niomi was born in Edmonton and grew up in Vancouver. She has worked in retail since high school. Niomi has always loved shoes.
