I was able to get into this clinic after moving to Calgary. I currently see Dr. Stevenson for my regular check-ups and any other issues I have.
The clinic itself is clean and modern, they recently did some renovations and put all the filing on computers. I never have an issue booking an appointment, even calling the same day and getting in at the end of the day. The receptionists aren't overly friendly, but I don't speak with them much anyways.
Dr. Stevenson has treated me well, if I have a concern she has no problem addressing it and being thorough in looking into it. She doesn't hesitate to sent me for any tests if she deems them necessary or even as a precaution. I feel confident I am receiving preventative care, which I think is unique. She has traveled a lot and I found the information she offered useful when deciding what immunisations to get for my travels. I have seen a couple other doctors here and was treated well by them too. The wait times tend to be long at this clinic, even with an appointment, but show me a clinic that doesn't have that. They do accept walk-ins and new patients.
I am very pleased with the care I have received at Hawkwood Medical. I would recommend this clinic, I think it is one of the better ones out there these days!
