This is definitely a family-style restaurant, as it is not very big and there was only one server. Even though there were around 4 other tables, it didn't seem like he was overwhelemed and he was very courteous too. The food looked really good and was decently priced. We order the hot pot with a small bowl of rice. I'm really sorry but I don't know what it's called. Anyway, most of the dishes were priced around $8-10 with some of the bigger ones at a higher price. The restaurant was clean. Given the location of this place, it might be a bit hard to find it, as it is located on the second floor of the Venezia Plaza and next to the elevator.
We got the typical Korean appetizers but unfortunately, it said we could only refill it once.
No complaints! If you want to try Korean food that's decently priced and nothing fancy, this is the place to go! -

If you're looking for more of a traditional, laid back korean restaurant, this is the place to be. My friend and I were driving up and down Alexandra road for some dinner earlier this week and we stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. Their service is great: attentive, even with 4 other tables being occupied, the lone server still got around to attending our needs. To sum up the experience, everything was very "home-y". I definitely recommend you give this a try if you're tired of the "noodle-soup" combo restaurants around this area.

My wife saw the add in a Chinese newspaper of a "family style" Korean restaurant in Richmond so we decided to try it.
Turn out that the restaurant has been open for just two months and operated by a husband (at the front) and wife (in the kitchen). Apparently the wife grew up in Japan and good in both Korean and Japanese cooking as well.
The place is small (about 6 tables) and typical of Korean restaurants the menu is not huge. We were there for lunch (3 people) and ordered Jap Chae (potato noodle with vegie - $16), spicy beef noodle $9 (not in soup) and seafood udon $9.
We were served each a small bowl of Korean porridge (like Chinese congee) with a little bit of pork and vegie which was very good and so it was a good start.
The main dishes were very well plated when they arrived compared to some other Korean food and the taste was delicate and not the typical spicy/salty/sweet. Ingredients were fresh and service was superb.
Will definitely go back for dinner and try the main dishes and hot pot.
