Dr. Nikolaj has been my dentist since 1992. He's been with me through crooked teeth, braces, and unwillingness to have my wisdom teeth pulled, and all the little issues that arise throughout the years. I'm not really freaked out about dentists, so there's that, but if I've ever needed a needle or anything, him and his assistant W. always make me feel at ease and comfortable. He never makes me have any work done that I don't want to (unless it's necessary) and gives me all of my options. He doesn't push anything just to get paid.
The staff in his office are all amazing. The girls that currently work there have all been there for at least 10 years - I can't remember anyone before these ladies. from B. at the front desk to the hygenists and assistants. They almost make me feel like an old friend. They always ask about my dad, my husband, my job, and remember details about my life. We pick up our conversations where we left off six months prior. I can't say enough about any of them - just beyond nice and friendly, in a totally genuine way. When I had my first appointment after my mom passed away (who also went to Dr. Nikolaj), I walked in and they all gave me a hug and had tears in their eyes. Truly caring people.
I've never had any issues with booking an appointment, and they're really great about calling with reminders. If you think your appointment is a little too far away, they'll put you on the cancellation list and call you if anything opens up. They always seem to be taking new patients as well. No appointments on Fridays. -

I have been going to Dr. Nikolaj since I was in my teens (20 years ago) and now I take my children there. The staff are excellent and he is amazing. If he has to give needles, they don't even hurt if you can believe that. If any of us have an emergency, they are quick to make room for us in the schedule.
There is rarely any wait time and there are no hassles with rescheduling appointments. They are very understanding and take the patient's best interest to heart when dealing with them. Highly recommended.
