It all started with a bar of soap at the Park View Hotel in Hualien, Taiwan. I was hooked! (Not just any bar of soap, a Aromatic Wood Rice Bran Oil Soap by Thann.) I can't recall the last time a bar of soap that actually cleaned without leaving all that "moisturing" grease on my hands and it didn't dry my hands either.
Harnn and Thann are two different product brands sold in one store and at some locations, day spas are available. Thann Spas won the Conde Nast Global Hot Spa award in 2006. Personally, I just love Thann's soap products and the Black Pepper Herbal Balm for massage. I and wish I had purchased more when I had the chance. Now I just hope word of mouth will soon bring them to the US! The cloest place you can get your hands on their products is to contact our Northern Neighbor in Ottawa:

Yes, all this spa stuff is a bit extravagant when you can get a bar of soap for $2, but hey, you only live once so why not enjoy the experience?!?!
