The food is really good, better than I expected.
Fries come in a cone, with a couple good dips. Flat breads are huge, and very good. Onion rings are huge and delicious. Probably the best basic pub grub in the neighborhood.
Friendly staff who tolerate my obscenely drunk friends. A nice big patio in the court yard of a condo, and a water feature helps to drown out the heavy traffic passing by on Lakeshore Ave. -

It's exactly what you expect from a sports bar. We were looking for a spot with several TV screens to watch hockey playoffs. Got a reservation and a table close to the big screen.
Our table of 4 ordered a few pitchers, nachos, wings and sweet potato fries. Prices are a bit higher than your traditional pub grub, but the server we had was excellent.
Location is not that great. On a Friday night it was pretty quiet, probably since most of the patrons are those that live in the condos close. We didn't mind though, nice to still be able to have a conversation with the lower volume.
It's an OK spot for pre-and-post sports games but if you want good quality food, try elsewhere first. -

Do I write about the food here or do I write about the sports bar quality here? Hmm...I think either way I'd give it a 3.5 star and not quite a four.
We arrived at Real Sport down the area an hour before the JLin vs Raptor's game started on Vday and we were told we have to wait--for a long time. Assuming that people dont just leave before a game, we decided we'd try our luck at Harbour Sports Grille, a bar that a popular Toronto Sport writer claims he goes to when he's not actually at the game. Expecting to be full, we were kinda worried we'd end up having to stand and eat, but it turned out that it was really really empty. The combination of Valentine's day and people actually going to ACC to watch the game resulted in a somewhat unpopulated sports bar.
We were seated in the eating area and the pre-game analysis was out on the tv around us. There are tv to see no matter where you sit in this bar. So plus points for that. There was no sound for the tv, so we asked our server if we could have it turned on but she said if we go to the lounge then there will be sound there. + points for having the separation and being able to to eat in peace. However after the game actually started, they changed to channel to a Boston vs New York Hockey game. WTF? We paid our bill ASAP and moved our seats to the lounge to watch the on a giant projected screen.
The food was just okay, and actually pretty expensive. My friend's Chicken with mushroom was almost $20 before tax and tip and my PTT sandwich with turkey and peameal bacon was $13. His hoegaarden was $9 and my cocktail was $12. I wasn't impressed with the food at all.
Because it's not that busy, the service was pretty minimal and a bit slow, which I found a bit irritating. Maybe we might come back for the next game, but i think there are much cheaper options out there. -

Came here only for lunch. I'd probably have passed it and never gone in, except it is/was an old stomping ground for a lot of the older people at my office but one they think of fondly. The staff is efficient and leaves you alone, quick to come by if your drink is down but generally leaves you alone after bringing you your order.
This results in quick lunches and/or quiet time if you are meeting with someone for some mentoring or performance evaluation.
The bar is unexceptional but does have a lot of window lighting in the morning.
Food is okay, though I only tried out their lunch menu. It had general fair, burgers, etc.
Location is great but as stated, its easy to miss. -

I work close to the Harbour Sports Grille. It's just okay in my opinion and you're paying for the location more so than for food. It's close to the ACC and Skydome so it's not a bad place to chill before a game or a concert etc...
I've been here at least 30x (since it's a lunch spot that gets picked often) and have tried many of the items on the menu. The most consistent is the Taco Salad.
PROS
-location
-patio
-tvs
CONS
-expensive for what you're getting
-soggy fish and chips
-stale toast/bread for the sandwiches
-pizza isn't bad...but isn't great....a bit dry
-expensive beer
I find the prices comparable to the Real Sports Bar, but the food is much worse here. What a shame. -

It's a decent but unexceptional pub.
Decent but unexceptional food, decent but unexceptional beer list, decent but unexceptional service. If you're in the area and you want some food, some drinks and some TV, this is a reasonable place to make it happen.
Within a half-kilometer, there's almost nothing else, so If you work at 1 Yonge Street or live in the condos above, you aren't exactly overflowing with choice that doesn't require a bit of a hike, so you'll probably come here now and again. -

This follow up applies to the patio section. This place seemed to have mellowed down quite a bit on the weekend and now you can actually find seating there (mind you the patio is still packed on a nice weekday and prime hours). Had a pint of Stella to enjoy with my cigar :) Friend had a Burger which is actually decent. I would drop by if I wanna enjoy the harbor front area in a patio.
P.S. For all you hockey fans they actually had a TV outside in the patio! to show the Canucks Games. 3 Star overall.Listed in: Cigar Friendly Patios in…

I used to work across the street, and this and the japanese restaurant across are the only things you can go to because Captain John's is on my banned list.
Typical sports bar fare. As a former regular, the service was always very good. Not sure how Real Sports Bar and Grill will affect this place, but on the UFC night we were here, the place was still decently packed.
Conclusion: Eat Here? Sure.Listed in: Meh!

Can't speak for the food, I just dropped by for some drinks. $21 for a pitcher of domestic? wow, me thinks not.
Yelpers here say the food is good but if I'm going to a sports bar, I'm going to watch sports and have beer. And at that price for beer, well, let's just say they better have some good food to keep people coming back at these prices. -

Without hyperbole, I would say I'm the world's biggest burger fan, ever. Always searching out the finest burgs wherever they may hide. I'm kinda like the Indiana Jones of Burgers.
And Ol' Indiana Burger has found a quiet, unassuming little gem in Harbour Sports Grille, tucked into the bottom of a condo at the foot of Yonge Street - right across from the Toronto Star building.
The decor is standard sports bar - upholstered booths featuring olde-timey sports graphics, lots of TVs, attractive servers - and the place is slammed before/after events at the ACC (so beware).
But...there's something special about an unassuming sports bar that delivers the goods (Burgs) better than places that are far more assuming. I think they make their burgs out of the same prime rib meat that the Keg makes their sliders out of - it tastes quite similar anyway. If you've tried the Keg's little burgs and enjoyed them (which you'd have to be missing your tongue and or brain to NOT enjoy), step up to Harbour Sports' full-sized burgs and be gently dazzled by the simplicity and rich flavour. It made me want to regurgitate my burger so I could eat it again, actually. Then I decided I'd just come back to eat there again. Probably less mess.
Try the Mushroom Swiss burger for added fun, and enjoy it on the patio on a summer evening. With the fountain going in the square the patio sits in, it's a great chill time.

The food is very good. Excellent burgers and wings, but they have a broader menu.
Staff are friendly and plenty of TVs. Good beer, but isn't cheap. -

3.5 stars, rounded up to 4 because I am in a good mood. There's a lot of good and bad about this little bar/resto, that serves primarily Yonge Street and Queens Quay condo residents.
1. The burger is excellent. Very very good. Dare I say that it is In the running for best in town?
2. Chicken sandwich/sub/hoagie thingy. Meh. Regrettable.
3. Large patio
4. Many TVs
5. Decent location if you live at 10 Yonge Street condo building, and not horrible if you live next door at 18 Yonge Street either
6. Service = good
7. Free pop refills! Reminds of of the Taco Bell days of the mid-90s.
8. Basically, there's no parking...or expensive paid parking in nearby lots
Really, the only bad thing was the chicken hoagie/subwich thing. -
Review from Taylor O.
+3.5 due to location in otherwise underserved area; this is more crucial in the winter time when one block feels like 5km.
For those in the condo's above and Westin across the street, this is a mainstay. The food is ok (chicken balls were a highlight but for the wings only the spiciest sauce would do). The drink prices are reasonable but the pours as per Canadian status quo are weak regardless of tippage.
I spent much of the past winter, watching the Chicago Blackhawks win and the US Olympic team beat the Canadians as my colleagues and I changed "USA, USA, USA."
The owner is cool and for a few regulars even got us a requested beer. -

I had an emergency "meeting" that had to occur this past summer. That "meeting" was the Germany v. Turkey match during the Euro 2008 tournament. After meeting with clients down by the waterfront, I ran to a place that I thought to be perfect. Why? It had "harbour" (the neighbourhood) and "sports" (what I needed) right in the name of the place.
This is a local haunt for many of the folks that work right down by the Toronto harbour front or live in one of the o-so-many condos that line the lakeshore. There's TVs aplenty so there's no problem with sight lines, and the menu is mid-to-medium-high range for a sports bar. There's all of the usual faves you'd expect (wings, burgers, etc.) but there's also a high volume of wraps and Chinese/Szechwan items as well. Not often a sports bar gives you a choice of Asian noodle, but here you are. The staff are friendly and accommodating as you'd want.
Though awkwardly placed for the staff, the patio is situated inside a small square found in between buildings. The fenced off area does make for an okay patio, but it's separated from the building making it slightly awkward for people leaving the restaurant and colliding with servers bringing out food and drink. When full, the patio area looks more and more like a pen you'd find on the farm filled with livestock. Except the animals are having wings and beer. -

Does what it should:
* Burgers, but with a little more variety that one would expect
* Beer: enough said
* Lots of TVs - I don't like 'em but what did I expect -

This was a great place to go to when I used to live in the ghost town that is called the Harbourfront. Perhaps the only place for decent food on the strip at the time. Tasty meaty wings, rest of the pub type dishes are done well and are of good sized portions. This is a great place to watch sports, good crowd on the weekends for hockey and nfl football and service is always friendly and efficient. Also a fun place to come to for the super bowl in Toronto as they have several contests and nice to see the fans of the opposing teams take snipes at one another. And during the off-times I've heard that this is the place to catch the leafs coaching staff or players after a practice-so says a good friend of mine. :)

For sure I am a fan! This place came to the rescue on a night that was looking like a disaster. If you are looking for good times with friends and family. I would recommend Harbour Sports! The ribs are great... with the simply bbq sauce, but if you want incredible ribs you need to get them in the jamaican jerk sauce. Seriously! The chicken wings are amusing, they come with ranch sauch, not my favorite when it comes to chicken wings. BUT if you want to really get crazy they have a sauce called the "foolish sauce", I tried it, I suggest you try it as well. The prime rib sandwich was okay, nicely cooked, tender just a little too much bun for me. If you are the seafood type, they have a spectacular mussels dish, I recommend getting the tomato white wine sauce. As for beers and pitchers, decently priced. And they have some nice outdoor seating under the CN Tower with a gently waterfall making you enjoy the cool night air.
