Horrible service - do NOT recommend
My mother and I bought several pedicure swarmjams and like the other reviewer, were told it would be a couple of months before we could book an appointment. Despite waiting two months, she cancelled our appointment a few days beforehand. We decided to take the refund instead of rescheduling with her as we had another swarmjam voucher to use with her the expiry date. It took a little bit of coordination to actually receive the refund as she was not at her store as her business hours stated but in the end we did receive the refund.
While getting the refund, we booked our next appointment (first opening 1.5month later) and when we arrived, there was no one there and the door was locked. It looked like she was ready for us as a chair was out for the pedicure but we waited 25min. (almost half the appointment length!) and she still had not arrived. We phoned several times and left several messages but have not received a call back. We had two appointments booked (one for myself and one for my mother) and she did not call either one of us despite our messages - our appointments were several days ago. We will probably be inquiring about a charge back through our credit card company to receive our refund.
The owner's attitude seemed exasperated when we tried to book our first appointment and she commented that she would never do one of these voucher things again as if she was annoyed with all the people trying to book and schedule appointment - this negative attitude has been seen throughout our entire experience with dealing with this woman. I definitely do not recommend this business. I will update when I actually receive my refund. -

I would like to echo the sentiments of the other reviewers. I bought a number of SwarmJam vouchers and from the initial start, I was told the first appt. available would be two months from when I was calling. I didn't think that was great, but I tried to be optimistic and booked. Well, I work on call, as I'm sure many of us do in these lovely economic times, and I figured if I called 3 weeks in advance to cancel an appointment, a rejig might be possible. Yeah right. In September or October (I called in July). Eek.
Now here is the kicker... maybe like little old me, you are thinking, hey maybe a small business owner just got in over her head on one of these group deals... sold a few too many vouchers. BUT... I was really dismayed to that in mid-July, the same pedicure offer came up on another voucher site. I'm sorry, but if you're so overbooked that you are fully busy for 2 months ahead without any openings at all, I can't really respect taking on more voucher clients.
I don't really like to have to schedule my pedi appointments months in advance like I'm having a surgery.
p.s. To be fair, the owner has always returned my phone calls and is pleasant to deal with. I would really be happy to try the pedicure service and review it fairly if I can ever get in. It's not looking likely.
