The lovely Japanese porcelain at Hana includes a lovely selection of tea and tableware with delicate and traditional designs.

Great for unique gift pieces, I always think of buying a present for my Mum when I'm here. But the breakable gems would also be great for weddings, hostess gifts, or anniversaries. I'd think twice before shipping anything, although I'm sure the helpful staff would be able to assist on this if I ever spring for a piece.

The fine items carefully displayed make it really easy to imagine a whole dining room of these gorgeous dishes. Too good to eat from!

This is a wonderful shop that carries japanese wares: tea sets, tea cups, plates, clothing and tea.

We happened to stop in while walking through Kits on Sunday afternoon.  We wanted to know the difference between the teas they had so they offered to let us try it.

The women in the shop were so helpful and knowledgable.  I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in Vancouver.

This very pretty shop carries a selection of mostly Japanese dishes and ceramics.  You will find all the lovely bowls, tea sets, serving plates and other Japanese style decorative pieces that you could dream of.  There are some that are quite delicate looking, and others that have a rougher look with glossy coloured glazes.  Each piece here is quite beautiful, and this makes this shop a worthwhile place to come to look for a unique gift or for something special to add to your home.  The people who work here will be happy to tell you where each piece is from, making shopping a slightly more personal experience.
