This is a good place if you're looking for some delicious hot-pot in your own individual mini silver pot. I regularly order their #2, which has a mix of everything: Green bean noodle, soft, transparent thin 'noodles'; Seafood: mussel, shrimp, and squid; Beef: not much in the pot and sometimes hard to chew. However, their broth is so flavourful you'll want to finish it until your stomach fills up like a water balloon. Plus, all the hot pot choices come with a bowl of rice.. unless you order the one with udon.
Another favorite I order often is the rice dish #5 with veggies, spicy tofu, and meat marinated with a super tasty sauce! It also comes with a bowl of miso, seaweed soup.
Note: You always get to pick the level of spicy added to your dish as well. No spice, Spicy or Extra Spicy!
The service is average. Sometimes I feel like they're always in a rush, so when they place down the piping hot dishes the soup spills onto the table.. be careful it's not you please!!
My thoughts: Awesome place to fill your stomach and warm your body on a cold, rainy Vancouver day or after a full day of shredding on the slopes.Listed in: A warm hug on a cold day

Korean style rich dishes and tofu hotpot. Its a feel good place, where food has that 'home made' taste to it! mmmmM
I ordered #5 which is the korean bbq rice dish. The portion looks huge, but its because its on a flat shallow bowl. Meat was delicious and bbq sweetly. Great sides of spiced tofu, veggies, and heavy poached egg. All the flavors combined was good. It wasn't very heavy on flavor tho.. (maybe thats a good thing, no msg?). It also comes with a side of miso seaweed soup.
All in all, a very good deal. Its better than an A-OK. But its not the best korean style rice and hotpot restaurant i've tried. I give it a 3.5 star.
But a wholesome yummy meal for less than ~$7 before tax and tip, always makes you smile :) You won't be abundantly full, but you'll be quite satified :D Plus you get to eat all your key food groups!
I recommend coming here instead of eating at Bubble World next door. Their food does not match to their sister restaurant in Burnaby. Go there for the drinks only.

Food was good and hot, but the service was not too good. The amount of food in our soup, did not match the amount of food pictured in the menu (Lots of Broth). Of course we got less than pictured, not more. Other than that, the food was good.

The best silver noodle hot pot I've ever had!! This is a nice quaint little place to hang out in the afternoon and you just want a light snack before a late meal! Even though you think this places sounds korean, it's actually more like those Taiwanese tea places. They serve pearl tea drinks and have a lot of snacks to chose from. They have one soy sauce tofu which has a very delish garlic sauce on top. I highly recommend their hot pots which is a perfect amount to share or if you are hungry have one whole bowl all to yourself....
