Not bad... but not better than The Halal Guys. This cart was close to my hotel and because I had a late craving for halal and didn't feel like walking or taking a train to 53rd, I decided to try this cart out. I ordered the chicken over rice with white AND BARBECUE sauce. It was damn good! I noticed they use whole peppercorn in their rice which gave it a lil more kick. Not bad...not bad!!

The BEST freaking Halal Cart around. Juicy, flavorful chicken, delicious yellow rice (I think it's saffron) and beautifully greasy (but not in the artery clogging way).
The stuff is even good freezing cold out of the fridge. -
Review from Scott V.
This is a solidly decent halal cart. Don't eat at the crap places in Penn Station. Walk up the escalator near track 15 east, and make yourself happy. We always leave time when transferring Amtrak trains to stop and get a spicy, filling, cheap lunch/dinner here. Last week, as a large thunderstorm swooped by overhead, we cowered under its little metal awning, salivating as the kind man prepared our platters. We ate it standing in front of the board in the main hall of Penn Station. Classic.

Gyros, chicken over rice - delish! -
Review from Sushi S.

Not bad, meat wasn't craved off the skewer and happened to be a bit dry. The one thing I cannot understand and maybe an East Coast thing but why do they put LETTUCE on the gyros...a traditional wrap is, meat, sauce, toms & onion!!!
And the other negative, you have to bring your own cup for beverages.
