Clean efficient and affordable and the location isn't half bad. 15$ for men and they do accept VISA and MC. The person who cut my hair wasn't very talkative which is a good thing in my case. The Space is huge and I think i counted almost 10 chairs. They offer a shampoo but I declined as I prefer to shampoo and shower at home :)
Now for the music choice it covered some of the widest range I have heard i.e from the head bobbing 50 Cents (in da club) to foot tapping old Sinatra styles classics :D Some J-pop and mariah carrey all within a span of 30-45 minutes!!!
4 Stars for what you pay. -

This is definitely a get-in, get-out place. The setting is as basic as it gets. I went for a haircut after 6p.m.. They didn't wash my hair, just spritzed my hair with a spray bottle and started chopping the second a "bangs? no bangs?" decision was made. My cut was done in 12 minutes, a guy cashed me out, an energetic "thank you!" and I was sent off.
It wasn't bad for $25, but I wondered whether my experience would've been the exact same if at a First Choice Haircutters... -

Nice, I like it. Located along Yonge Street, I came here to get a men's haircut. They have really nice price for men $15. $25 for women.
It is a Korean hair salon with many staff ready to help serve you. They have Japanese style haircut books for people like me who don't know what they want.
It is was really simple.. the book I was going through has haircuts with colour-borders for short, medium, and long haircuts. Not to mention, I thought they did a really good job. -

Ever since I went to this hair salon during my days at Ryerson, I've never looked back. Fantastic service from the staff! With guys wash, cut and style at $15, you can't go wrong at this standard price.
The atmosphere of the place is common for a Asian hair salon. Expect Korean/Japanese pop and North American top-40s in the background.
They have hair magazines for guys and girls. If you were wondering how to describe that new style you've wanted, use them! Or bring your own.
The only thing that keeps me from giving a 5 star is that they have an inconsistent roster of stylists.
I would ask for Michelle. She's the best, and also the owner, if my memory serves me correctly. -

Wow. My husband and I were both in desperate need of haircuts today. The girl who cut mine did a good enough job. I keep an incredibly basic cut so it's probably not hard to do. Too bad I apparently can't say the same for my husband. The guy who cut his hair did a terrible job. He likes it somewhat longer, but this guy completely butchered it. He left it WAY too short on the sides. It looked like he was wearing a toupee or something. It's a shame I was waiting on the other side of the shop when he paid for it, because I wouldn't have let him. He ended up going somewhere else to have it fixed. It still doesn't look very good (and probably won't until the sides grow back) but at least it's something he can be seen in public with now. The second stylist looked at him and said "Whoever did that to your hair didn't know what they were doing." We certainly won't be back.

If you come here go to Brian or Steven. That's it. Everyone else there has butchered my hair.

Okay, I have been a hair model for Paul Mitchell, Aveda and LOreal. I love this cute little Korean shop to maintain and upkeep those in between times. They spend so much time cutting your hair til you are satisfied and they got hiphop blaring too! And Japanese fashion magazines! Ask for Tina, she's is great!
