Ok I don't even live in the Toronto area. I come back every other year or so and I get my hair done by Ricky on my visits!
My friend recommended me to him and she still gets her hair cut there too.
I have been 3 times so far: one to get my hair cut, one to get a formal updo and last time to get a cut and digital perm.
The first time, after he cut my blunt bangs, my aunt and three or four of my cousins started going to him. It's now been years. Talk about the power of referrals!
Ricky knows the current styles in Asia, how to not overdo or under-do anything, gives great, customized recommendations, does great layers, updos and digital perms! He does blunt bangs better than anyone. I actually just gave up getting them elsewhere and just save it for my trips to Toronto.
The prices are also very reasonable. $30+ for a cut, $35+ for an updo and $120+ for a digital perm.
I wish I had a hairdresser like this in Seattle/Vancouver!
