Although this H&M is huge and the staff are trying their best to maintain the store... The traffic at Eaton Centre is just too high, everything goes so fast...

I HATE THIS H&M.  It should be avoided at all costs.

    -Rude, indifferent, incompetent employees

-Sooooo crowded even if you're there right at opening on a Monday morning

    -Long lineups

I learned my lesson last time I was there and will never be caught dead at this location. It's such a shame because I like the H & M brand but this particular store is the WORST.

    VIBE
Usually, there's no drama--or service-- at this location. That said, the staff did try to help me find a blazer I was looking for to no success.  They change their merchandise around so frequently.

But this time, the toddler who screamed for about 10 minutes made me realize there was no point in visiting this location.

    THE GOODS
Sometimes, you can find good party stuff here. But I'd rather shop elsewhere given the crowded atmosphere and loud music.

    OBLIGATORY CATCHY REMARK
Parents, you should know better than to have your screaming child in a store for longer than four minutes. Literally, you could hear the boy from the lower level from the top level.

Don't get me wrong, I love H & M... but this location sucks ass!  Despite it's large size and good selection of clothing/accessories, it's always packed and the store is very disorganized/messy.  The lineups are quite long too.

The staff here are really rude and unhelpful.   There seems to be tons of staff around yet no customer service!  I once asked an employee for a dress that I saw on some Cityline fashion show or whatever, and the employee had no idea what I was talking about.  I don't know much about fashion but all I could remember was that it was a paisley print.  There was only one long paisley print dress on that show and when I kept describing what  it looked like and said again, it was paisley he like, snickered at me "paisley is a PRINT, there's a lot of paisley stuff here" trying to be all condescending towards me.  What an asshole.

You'd think that the employee's would be aware of their clothing that's being marketed on TV... especially since Cityline is recorded 1/2 a block away!!!!!!!  So funny.  I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to.... they probably loose lots of $$$ because of this.

This is  a HUGE H&M; probably as big as the store in Fashion District of NYC.
As with all H&Ms on the weekends- it was PACKED and busy and just really hard to manevour around. There was something for everyone tho, including kids and Men.
But be prepared to elbow people outta the way on weekends.

Yes it is huge, but the layout of this giant H&M is really weird with lots of stands blocking one's way, making impossible a smooth shopping-maneuvering.

Selection was just ok, I've seen better at the Bloor location, and things are better organized there too. I always lose my patience the quickest at this particular H&M shop--I'm always stopped, blocked, and pushed aside by merchandise on display, staff or other 294698375925 shoppers.

I'd stay away from this location for 3 reasons: 1. the damn tourists!! 2. the crowdedness that makes shopping here a nightmare. 3. the not-so-wonderful selection

It just isn't worth fighting other customers for shitty clothes that probably won't last you for longer than 2 months.

Like every gay guy in Toronto, I jumped on the H&M bandwagon when it arrived in our city. For the first time a clothing store had arrived for gay men in mind. (I'm not considering Le Chateau the first because that clothing is strictly day wear from drag queens). H&M offers a variety of designs and patterns for men all cheaply priced. I love that the majority of the clothing are vintage fit (It was depressing having to shop for XXS at American Eagle just because it fit properly, even though I'm over 6 feet).

All the love that I had for this store faded when I actually wore and washed the clothes. Clothing for men doesn't require much knowledge when it comes to washing it; there's not really a reason to read the care instructions for your typical cotton fabrics. That was until I bought from H&M; the majority of the T-shirts I washed quickly shrunk in the dryer to a boys size small (or midriff tops for some gay guys). H&M cuts corners by not pre-washing fabric so it shrinks on you. My other pet peeve with the clothing is how they manage to keep smells long after washing them. I'd run the iron over my shirts and still smell sweat in the arms (TMI?).

H&M has made way for stores like Forever 21, where cutting corners is alright as long as its all cheaply priced. I refuse to shop at this store now because of the low quality (that, plus I know this cheating ho-bag slut who works there).

This anxiety inducing 3 or 4 floor shopping whatever you wanna call it is a terrible terrible place to shop. AHhhhh I just wanna scream every time I'm in here.

To sum up the experiences I have had shopping here: Imagine wearing a thick, woolly and itchy turtleneck sweater while standing by a roasting hot fire in the blazing hot sun with unwashed and smelly hair. That's the feeling I get when I am in in H&M Store 1 Eatons Centre.

I go into this store with trepidation. I'm not a shop-thru-racks-for-hours-and-find-the-perfect-sco re-at-a-great-price type of gal. For one, it's too long to put on a T-shirt and I don't have the patience.

This H&M reminds me of an upscale Winners: you may find an outfit but it'll take awhile. It definitely has great clothes as I found a great dress to wear out clubbing.

I love that they except returns with full refund; that means that I can buy clothes, try them on at home and return them if they don't fit (have you seen the line-ups for their changerooms sometimes?!).

The top floor is my fav.

No complaints here.  I've never had any problems with the men's clothing that I've purchased here.  In particular, a shirt I bought here this summer still gets me complements almost every time I wear it by people around the office.

The prices are great and the quality is better than most places that have similar price points in my experience.
