This store is awesome. They carry jewelry, wallets, bags, clothing, and various other accessories. I always find something I want whenever I go in here and in my experience Groove Stone is a great place for finding gifts.

They have something in every price range. For example, necklaces range from around $20 up to around $200. Their items are inexpensive in comparison to other stores. I bought one necklace at Groove Stone for $30 -- they had the exact same one at Sanctuary for twice the price.

They always have cool and interesting items, including silver necklaces made from old wax seals, and necklaces with keys, compasses, bird cages, and so on as pendants.

They carry Matt & Nat wallets, bags, and other accessories, and often have a handful of these items on sale. I picked up a really cool wallet here for $20 -- more than half off the original price.

The clothing is lovely but it is too expensive for what it is, and the sizes are a bit ridiculous. (I am of average / healthy weight and I do not fit into a lot of the items there.)

Overall, this is a great store and one of the main reasons I shop at Southgate.

How often do you find a store inside of a mall that isn't a major chain? I think it might be one of the only ones in Southgate Mall. Sure, there's something to be said for consistency across the malls of Canada (where can't I find a Spring or an Aldo?), but it's such an awesome surprise to find something like this in a mall like that.

The clothes here are gorgeous, with unique details and careful construction. The price is right, too.

Even if I'm not in the market for a new garment, I can usually find a gorgeous new bag or jewelry piece. Dainty necklaces, feather earrings, you know the type. Lots of Matt and Nat stocked in here, too.

Last time I was in, they were having a sale - bonus! Sales clerk was super friendly and explained the price reductions to me. Definitely coming back soon (esp. if there's another sale)!

This store carries girls bags, wallets, purses and clothes. I went here to buy a gift and they had what I was looking for so I can't complain.

The store isn't over packed with stuff but it's got enough items to keep people happy I guess. It was surprisingly busy and the staff was really great, they helped me find what I was looking for.

I was walking around Southgate Shopping Center and as I passed this store called Groove Stone I stopped dead in my tracks (I almost caused a collision!).  The store was crazy busy!  I had to see what all the fuss was about.  This was a cute little store that sold some clothes; which were great.  I took a look though the one section they had for clothes and there were some really cute items that I would have loved to take home with me if they only had my size.  I think they just had a lot of smaller sizes left because of a really great sale that was going on.

They also had some cute handbags and purses.  The smallest one that I found was for $35.  The smaller sizes purses where great if you didn't want to carry a lot with you, like if you were going out to the club or something.

They also carried some really cute wallets with fun designs.  They had smaller sized ones and lager ones for about $25.  I really liked the designs they had on them; it's too bad I just got a new wallet for my birthday.  At least I know were to go when I want a replacement.

They also carried some great pieces of jewelry.  I have been looking for a place that sold earrings made from bone or wood and they had them.  They had some great shapes and styles.  The really nice and friendly sales woman asked me if I was doing okay and so I took the opportunity to ask about the wooden earrings they carried.  I was wondering if they were had to put in, because you need to slide this small, thin piece of wood through the two holes on the earrings plus the whole in you ear.  She told me that she just picked up a pair and that she really didn't notice any extra troubles that came with these particular earrings.  I couldn't afford to pick up a pair just that day even tough they weren't expensive at all; the pair of one earrings were about $19 each I believe and the wood ones where cheaper.  But, again, at least I know where to come to in order to find these types of earrings.

I really liked walking around this store and seeing all the little things that it had to offer.  I think I would defiantly say this is my second favorite store at Southgate (the first would be Fossil)

This is my kinda shop. A) Because it's not a major chain; B) because it sells trendy Canadian fashions and other top international ones; and C) because their stuff isn't outragiously priced. You can find stuff by Canuck designers. Their main thing is purses and handbags, but they also have some clothing, jewelry and accessories. I love the Matt & Nat stuff, they carry Bauxo jewelry which is super funky and cool, and other lines include Industry, Gentle Fawn, Mimi & Marge and Pyrrha. I bought a cute leather wallet and the sales clerks were very friendly and helpful, taking joy in helping me choose between two of my favourites. I would definitely recommend this store to Edmonton fashionistas. The store's just by Le Chateau. You can get gift cards here if you're looking for an original gift for a friend who loves fine fashion accessories.

    I really like Groove Stone.
It is a locally owned accessory shop that carries Canadian, International, and independent designers.
I like shopping at Groove Stone because their merchandise is different.  Their purses are beyond awesome - I wish I could buy them all!  Most importantly, they are unique.
There is also some clothing in Groove Stone and it very funky stuff!  it's a lot of fun though!
Their prices are decent for the quality of their goods (which is very good, by the way).
If you like jewelry, you should have a look at Groove Stone.  They have some beautiful pieces and, again, they are unique.  I really like their jewelry and everyone that has ever shopped there with me has agreed.
The staff are friendly.  They seem to be enjoy their jobs (how could not  when you are surrounded by purses, clothes, and jewelry all day?!
If you haven't been, go!  The new Southgate store is bigger and better!
