  My husband and I came to green shag to get his wedding suit custom made for our special day.  We knew and made clear our wedding date and asked them if they would be able to get the job done and after some deliberation....they agreed and said they would help us to make it happen.  We were ecstatic.  My husband went for the fittings and got all the measurements done and we were always assured that we were going to meet the date.  Sure enough...one day before our wedding...we went to get the final trial done and we received the custom suit completely un-customized.  The sizing was too big, the style as he requested was incorrect and the personalized date of our wedding which we had in scripted on the inside of the jacket was also WRONG!  We pointed these all out and the owners - the tall guy with the moustache - took total offense.  His attitude was terrible and then carried on to call my husband crazy, unreasonable and emotional.  WTF?  Firstly, we calmly told him that we had agreed on the date and that they promised that it would be done.  The owner then said that we rushed him and that they would get the suit done in a few more weeks....It was our wedding and they screwed up the suit...I'm not sure what kind of response they were expecting since it was the day before our wedding.  In the end...they made it somewhat work...but not without a fight.  The suit didn't turn out exactly how we wanted it but reasonable enough.  All in all...this was a very disappointing experience.  It left us with a bitter taste towards the shop and what a shame.  They could have had a lifelong customer.  Do not be fooled by his  supposed professionalism.  He is a good actor.  The rest of the staff was very nice in the store...but as the owner...this guy was just a piece of work.  Don't support establishments that can't keep their word or believe in good old customer service.  Their customer service Page says:  "Our goal is for you to be happy. We stand behind our products 100%. If you are not happy for any reason, please let us know, we will do everything we can to make you that way.". If only this was true we would not have given them one star.

  Although the finished suit was fantastic and the groom looked fabulous, we agree the process could have been smoother.
  
  This is why we no longer 'rush' bespoke suits - especially bespoke suits for weddings.
  Simply put, bespoke takes time and rushing the old-world craft of tailoring inherently causes stress.
  
  The bespoke suit in question was a giant rush. Fittings are all part of the process (and part of the fun when time is not an issue).  It's about sculpting the suit and sometimes this takes an extra fitting or two to achieve the end-goal.  Unfortunately time was not on our side in this instance and we can understand the stress it caused.
  
  So that said, we never walk away from a garment and we do indeed stand behind everything 100%.  Even though a year has passed, we are more than happy to make any additional tweaks to this suit.  We truly want your husband to be loving his GreenShag suit, so if there's any further alterations you'd like made, please give us a call.
  
  And rest assured, we promise to never accept rushed timelines for wedding suits.
