My fiance and I went here for dinner tonight.  I ordered the Pho noodle soup with well done beef, and my fiance ordered the House Special, which is Pho noodle soup with rare beef, beef brisket, and beef balls (not the kind you are thinking about).

Both of us thought that the soup and noodles tasted pretty good, but the beef quality was not that good, for the meat was tough.  Our service was adequate to decent.

This is my go to spot for after the bar on Elgin St. when we have no DDs!

In any other neighbourhood I might hunt down a diner but I really don't like the diners to much on Elgin even when I've had 10 to many to drink.

I come here for the faux pho.  I'm not sure what it is but the salty broth and the shaved roast beef like meat they put in here sure hits the spot but nearly as well as the ones in Chinatown.  I came here a few times during the day and it's not half as good when the taste buds are working.

I haven't tried the sushi or other items they have here.  Swing by after a night out though!

Green Tea Sushi presents an interesting restaurant concept; it's a Sushi/Vietnamese/Chinese take-out style restaurant, with seating that's open late. It's curious to see all of these elements combined into one restaurant. It's a shame that the execution is so mediocre.

Green Tea's decor is basic at best. The service was slow and the waitress barely spoke English. All of the sushi was a la carte and there weren't many vegetarian options.  It took 45 minutes to receive meals for my table of four. The beef pho was delicious. The sushi was poorly rolled. I'm not a fan of bubble tea but I was told it was "acceptable". I found the sushi prices unreasonable.

I'm not really sure what to make of this place. If I want Vietnamese or Chinese food, I will go to said restaurants. I guess if it was 2 in the morning and I needed Sushi, I could dee myself going here. Other then that, never again.

I really like this place. It's ideal if you're starving, you don't want to drop a lot of cash and you want something wholesome.

    It's unpretentious, casual, and welcoming.

I always come back for the soups!

Green Tea on Elgin is where I first experienced bubble tea.  Embarrassingly enough I'd never had it before and the waiter asked if I wanted tapioca in it and I was sort of confused and said "no".

Turns out that's what makes the bubbles and I've since learned to always get the bubbles in bubble tea!  Since then I've had a few different of their flavours and really liked the stuff.

Green Tea is different from the other sushi options in the area in that it's quite casual.  The restaurant is usually playing MTV or some music videos on their flat screen or you can sit up at the bar or along the window.  I believe they have wifi or access to it in the store too.

You'll also find this place open quite late so if you're craving food late or coming home from somewhere it's another option instead of ESD or Dunn's.

The staff are friendly and they will serve you quite fast.

This place is always busy, and for late night foodies, it's open til 5am Thursday - Saturday!

I tried the chicken vermicelli cold noodles, which are pretty good. The chicken was well seasoned, although stay far away from the egg roll that came included on the dish. Not only was it obvious that it had been fried hours ago, it wasn't even "fresh from the warmer tray" hot.

Nice staff, and cheap sushi that looks worth stopping in to try. Also, the restaurant is clean and has a young, hip vibe which helps.
