Review from Edward L.
The Domestic terminal at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is seriously hurting. I checked in my luggage and entered the secure zone with the intention of finding something decent. Unless you count the Starbucks or a couple of convenience stores, this is your ONLY choice of food that isn't a danish. To find this place, go to the RIGHT after you leave the baggage scanning checkpoint.
Feeling baller, I went all out and ordered the $6.95 Italian Panini. It's really just a toasted bagel, but you get a choice of salami or cappicollo ham (which made me feel special). The ingredients were pretty fresh (everything was nice and crispy), but it wasn't $7 good. The guy looked seriously bored, as all of the foot traffic was heading towards the other side (left) of the terminal.
The moral of the story? Eat here if you can expense it. Otherwise there are cheaper options (though that's not saying much) in this part of the airport.
