Being from a small town, I've never had the chance to enjoy other types of takeout. Long story short, Greek on Wheels is the perfect choice for a well priced and hearty meal, you can go wrong with their menu.
5 Stars takeout, fast and great service, and this is coming from someone that orders twice a week and has been since July 08. -

My wife and I spent many years overseas and we could always find Mexican, Italian and Indian food. It was expensive, to be sure, but available. The one food we could NEVER find (except for this tiny little island in the Philippines!) was Greek food. So, since those days, we love Greek food and make an effort to try it when ever we can. I found Greek on Wheels one day while shopping on Merivale. The name intrigued me - sounded vaguely dirty! Hee hee! Anyhow, it is the cutest little place you could imagine. It has a tiny little stool/table area, but otherwise is strictly a take-away place. The decor is decidedly greek, but Spartan greek. Ha! Their menu, despite the small size of the restaurant, is HUGE!!! I counted more than 80 different offerings - souvlakis, salads, brochettes, wings, wraps, gyros, desserts.... they even have a kids menu. I had a souvlaki pita wrap and it was good - very tasty. The prices are moderate for greek food in the area (around $6 - $12 depending on what you order). Looking for good Greek? Try Greek on Wheels. You'll wheely like it!
