The pizza at Greco Pizza is honestly by far the worst I've ever eaten, and probably the worst one could possibly imagine. Somebody who is proud of having come up with the idea of a "crustless pizza" clearly hasn't understood what pizza is all about. The toppings are cheap, tasteless, and fatty. I don't understand how this chain is still in business - their prices are insane too (a medium pizza including HST costs $18.68-20.98 - no kidding). I hope that nobody from Naples ever goes to an outlet of this franchise since the consequences would be drastic. Unfortunately rural Newfoundland is full of Greco Pizza Express outlets. (Deep-fried seafood and crappy pizza - rural Newfoundland is a food desert!) In Halifax, fortunately, there are (many much) better choices.

Tucked in the basement of the "Marble" building on Barrington Street, Greco shares it's spot with Captain Sub. The place is a little grungy looking with way too much posters and ads everywhere. It's quite overwhelming.
Service was poor, it seems out of the 3 staff working the only guy doing anything was the guy serving me. A couple of the sit-in tables were dirty and no one seemed interested in cleaning.
But if you are in need of a sub for under $4 it's a good grab and go, just try not to look in the back prep area. Veggies were OK, but not as fresh as other sub/pita places I frequent. Personally I'll spend another couple bucks for quality next time.
